I estimate that at least 50% of the doctors in Mexico should no longer practice. The USA just in Mexico has a $300 billion healthcare market ready for the taking.
In tbe USA, one must first have a degree in biology, chemistry, or take difficult courses in university like organic chemistry to be eligible to apply to medical school. The latter makes American doctors some of the best in the world. When Danica Sirovy finished high school, there were a million students that entered college that announced their intent to become doctors. At the end of four years only about 72,000 applied for 21,000 positions. When I applied to medical school at UCLA there were 7000 applicants for 140 positions. I was most fortunate.
Mexico cannot continue to let highschool students to readily enter medical school because they are killing patients. I am yet to understand how is it that Doctor Angel is a very wealthy man and lives in a mansion.

It is extremely dangerously to self administer ceftriaxone IM if these emergency drugs are not readily available: Epinephrine 1:1000 1 mg ampule and diphenhydramine. Her mother was to inject her at home. I was consulted.
She was poorly examined. She was prescribed Paracetamol or Acetaminophen + ceftriaxone 1 gram vial to inject herself + albuterol liquid that caused her palpitations and the shakes. She was prescribed dexamethasone 8 mg ampule to self administer. Not trusting the system, she otherwise did not fill the prescription.
For instance my medical student got sick two nights ago. She had wheezing all night. She developed a fever. She is 22 and otherwise healthy. She went to the local hospital.
