I think we actually never knew what the actual picture of covid 19 was. I think the cases were always high. But politicians and the media just reported less. And they are giving the actual numbers whenever they feel it fits their political situations.

I tested positive for covid yesterday, while it sucks this time around its not nearly as bad as when I got Delta which felt like it nearly killed me (I was fully vaccinated even when I got it the first time).
