New York police responded to calls of a dog locked in a hot car on June 19. Just over a month later, an officer adopted the sweet pup!

  1. In some states, like Nevada, it is still illegal to break the window in this situation. 😠 Temperature is much higher in the car than outside.

  2. That is absolutely terrible when dogs are locked in hot cars! Except the really annoying ones that never shut up and are always barking dementedly. Then, I'm cool with it.

  3. I am more worry about the children that owner might have at this point. Person who can't care a dog and treat cruel to animel definitely can't treat a human child either that's 100% guaranteed.

  4. Should have handcuffed the owner to a bracket in the back of a patrol car and let the owner sit there with the windows up for 7 hours on a sunny day.

  5. I had to save a dog locked in a car before. I wish I could’ve adopted him. I’m glad this dog got the owner he deserves
