  1. No black shows in the 70's?? Did she not see Sanford & Son, Jeffersons, Good Times, What's Happening, Fat Albert, Soul Train, …? No black shows? I'm a decade younger than her, so maybe all the reruns in the 80's & 90's spoiled me on the old shows from the 70's. They were on all the time & were staples for me, even though I'm white. I loved the shows staring black people. It didn't matter to me what color people were, as long as they were entertaining. That's probably why I used to think comics were exaggerating in their stand up acts about all the racism. Now I know they weren't, but there was so much diversity in shows & movies from my perspective, I didn't see the racism. It was all happening behind the scenes.
