  2. Why is Marc Fogel not being spoken about in the trades? Because Griner is an athlete in a sport that no one watches? I'd like the media to talk about Whelan who is a complete con-man who tried to steal and also cheat the US military which lead to his court marshal. Is the US going to give up the "Merchant of Death" for these two and leave Fogel to serve 14 years for weed?

  13. MORAL OF THIS STORY: Break Russian law and you get Russian punishment. Unlike here, the race card is not legal tender in Russia. I suggest that her time in the gulag is spent trying to learn something about other cultures. Maybe then, maybe… she might learn that Houston Texas is not the center of the universe.   23. Didn't they say that a prisoner swap can't happen until after sentencing? Marc Fogel was arrested a month ago and so is much earlier on in the Russian legal process. I don't think making Brittney Griner and Paul Whelan wait another six months for Fogel's case to wend its way through the Russian courts is cool. A lot can happen in six months, in prison.

  26. I'm all for helping a good ole America loving, flag saluting citizen. Luckily, she's not one. This thing is getting what is known as "poetic justice".
    She'll have 10 years of eating cold root soups and plowing beet fields to think about how bad she hated America's laws, freedoms, rights, opportunities, infrastructure and bountiful food and resources. Hopefully that thing there forever.

'Sometimes ways of American jurisprudence & its politics, leaves me perplexed. the Commander-in-Chief supposedly has unfettered right to engaged with leaders of the Free World…but apparently, doesn't include Russian Federation, a nuclear power? United Nations Security Council (U. N. S. C), interacts with all leaders of the world, countries have interests, why ought not the President of United States of America not have the identical / same political leeway, to debate -matters-on-behalf-of-its-citizens? And the Presidency of US, is not administrated-alone and- or- done- in- a- vacuum…the US Government has structure, departments, US House of Representatives, US Senate, Capital Hill, etc (?)…even the political nucleus of their party…all have responsibility to bring these underpinnings to a cohesive conclusion…the US is not a Totalitarian state, so this belief that President Donald J.Trump, or another, did this against the country's laws, whatever might the accusation be, was, or were…is garbage, cannot happen in a vacuum? Time to grow up US politicians and honor your charge to the American people, otherwise?

    Finally, you mentioned about a druggie taking drugs into another country, etc? **YOU know, I am a Citizen of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas and whenever I travel to the US, but arriving at US Customs & Border Protection / Homeland Securi,ty…first question: 'Where are you going? I am traveling to Seattle, Washington. 'What is happening there? Amazon is selling my crime novel 'Betrayed the Second Time, since 2016-2022, and has refused to pay the Royalties-(and its an Amazon bestseller). **Then I present a copy of the manuscript. **Were they expecting you? I got tired asking for appointment with manager of Accounts payable section, but refused to give one. And I also need to see my lawyer. **Sir, I don't suppose that Griner was asked a quarter of what they asked me…and checked her luggage as they did mine? Perhaps, that item would have been found, or excuse she might have given… could have been tested?
    I am praying that Father God will extend His mercy-to- her, by touching the heart of the Russian Legal System's Officiant, to accord her mercy, amen.
