  1. Yes, attack on the seal. There are signs and she swam in the area. Fine her $50K otherwise don't threaten that you will. Seal was protecting its territory.

  2. People shouting, "get out!" as if she wasn't trying and didn't want to do exactly that. Don't help, just shout and deride the woman who was obviously distressed, tired, and wanted nothing more than to get out. Not so easy.

  3. She was warned to stay far away from the area, yet went anyway. She's lucky to be alive, and not getting a hefty fine up to $5k. Reports of people still ignoring posted signs and barricades, wanting to get closer. Local residents know better and have more respect.

  4. It's not Rockies fault, don't blame her, she was protecting her pup. Notice you didn't see other people in the water, that would of been my first clue.

  5. Why would she not face any fines when it’s clearly marked off that you aren’t allowed to swim in that specific area??? Hope she recovers soon tho

  6. Last time I visited Maui, The blatant disregard and disrespect given to the indigenous wildlife from the tourists made me sick to my stomach.
