  1. I spent almost two years in jail in the “greatest country in the world” for a dime sack of Mexican dirt weed. I didn’t smuggle it internationally the sentence of nine years seems actually fair. America has people in jail over this exact reason. Maybe we should release all our marijuana offenders before they release them. American hypocrisy at its best.

  2. If she was using medical marijuana we all know that the marijuana IS NOT TO LEAVE the state it was purchased in, period….. So it was not a mistake it was a liberals choice. LIBERAL JUSTICE 😁….

  3. I wonder if her husband {quote un quote} will be waiting for her 9 years from now. She says she is soooo sorry for how this has affected her family and loved ones. The ONLY one she feels sorry for is HERSELF.

  4. A "miscarriage" of justice ? "Wrongfully detained" ? Come on. She's getting what she deserves. 9 years is really NOT long enough no matter what country it's in. She KNEW what she was doing when she did it. TOO BAD….when she gets out and back to this land that she "loves" soooo much LOL, she will probably be TOO old to play professional basketball.

  5. Wtf you mainstream media. Everyone should abide to every law of one's country. Not her fault?! She brought in an illegal substance, whether intentional or not. So you say an honest mistake🤔🤔. I cant believe this mainstream media, wtf.

  6. Russia isn't interested in a prisoner exchange. They've been offered Viktor Bout before and they say no. Russia isn't going to show weakness and follow US orders. It's naïve to believe that they will.

  7. The reporter Patrick Reevell says her trial was not a real trial it was about holding someone hostage. So much for non biased reporting LOL. Such disrespect toward the Russian legal system. SMH No wonder U.S news show ratings are plummeting.
