So disingenuous of this gentleman to say (or should I say absolute BS) that the burn pit problem wasn’t understood. 5 years ago, I underwent training at the hospital I worked at in California, detailing the ways the burn pits had disabled and are killing the vets. There was video provided, interviews with vets and their family members and it was explained that these people were not receiving help or even recognition from the military that the burn pits were at fault. It’s unacceptable that Congress has taken so long to take meaningful action.

  5. That’s BS about they didn’t know. I can’t believe the military has no one involved that doesn’t understand these scenarios , like the doctors or environmental engineers.
