We know GOP only wants control and to win. I like him some but he did not stand up either. It is not both sides. I look at years of evidence and rarely do I find Dems being as criminal and slanderous. I do not know whyanyone gaslights us on what we all experienced the past years. Truth matters.

The GOP is an organization of PERVERTS:
They have PERVERTED, poisoned & polluted the political process by polarizing & politicizing everything they can to try & divide. They've diminished the legitimacy, integrity & credibility of Congress, the Presidency, and the SCOTUS & just about every Federal Agency & Department imaginable – including the Secret Service, FBI, DHS, Inspectors General & the Pentagon.
More important: The complicity & culpability of the GOP – they are American democracy's cancer, Trump only a dangerous tumor.
The GOP brand has been damaged beyond redemption & rightfully so. They are responsible for the downward spiral of civility, ethics & morality in American politics over the past 60 years. They are the primary source of disinformation, distortions, distractions, subversion, obstruction, sabotage, and selective "law" that only benefits their party in spite of what's best & desired by the majority of Americans.
Decent "Conservatives" need to find a different Party to join that can legitimately participate in American democracy. This means they must be willing to lose gracefully & accept the peaceful transfer of power IN ADDITION to demonstrating a connection to truth, logic, facts & reality – MIA from the GOP which is now a DTO worthy of expulsion via an attempted coup resulting in insurrection – both acts of sedition – and treason.
The reluctance or inability of "Conservatives" to acknowledge facts, truth & reality in a timely manner is what makes them a Clear & Present Danger to the safety, security, health & public welfare of America – and human existence on Planet Earth

What kind of message will the DOJ send if they dont charge him, a former president or not? It was "intentional" conduct when Trump refused to return the documents. If they dont charge him, he or a future president or some other official will do worse. No way not charge him. Otherwise, law is not applied "equally." Charge someone else and not Trump? What kind of justice system is that?

As a Republican, why should I want the GQP to win elections? It is embracing authoritarianism, denying the results of elections it loses, enacting laws and electing officials who openly state they will interfere in future elections to get the result they want even if the voters vote otherwise. A party that defends the actions of a former president no matter how outrageous or illegal, and that says that women and girls that are raped have to carry a pregnancy to term. This is a party we should want to elect? Transparency related to Trump's crimes du jour will solve nothing. It is quite certain that Trump acted improperly, and virtually certain illegally. He has clearly acted illegally before. This is not even related to the insurrection and coup attempt. And yet the Republican Party continues to support him wholeheartedly. If reelected he will literally destroy the federal government to get his way, and populate it with servile lackies. The GQP has elected members to Congress who are frankly deranged and openly embrace the most bizarre conspiracy theories. These include Gosar, Gaetz, Green, Bobert, Jordan, to name only a tiny subset, and it is led by people like Kevin McCarthy (completely spineless and without moral principle), Rafael Cruz (who abandons his freezing constituents to fly to Cancun, and then blames it on his kids), Lyin' Lindsey Graham (who is done with Trump, except he isn't), Little Marco Rubio (who called Trump out in 2016 as a danger to the country, but now kisses various body parts at every opportunity), etc. This is only a partial list of policy and personnel failings, and this is a party Americans should support? Please explain why?
First, FBI was in Maralago and saw documents and was told to take anything they wanted by Trump lawyers , they didn’t take it and raided 2 months later.
Never mind Trump can declassify anything.
How is FBI going to explain leaving the stuff there for 2 months after being told to take them?
