  1. The right thing to do? How much are your kids getting away with. I paid my loans and now I gotta pay taxes to pay off their loans?!? Bunch of crap.

  2. FYI, you have to apply for debt relief. If you have a student loan you can choose not to apply for debt relief if you're outraged. Just saying.

  3. The reason these people took out those high priced loans in the first place is because of the outrageous cost of going to these democrat backed liberal universities. Maybe these students should have majored in living within your means. Besides $10,000.00 won't go very far in biden's economy any way.

  4. If you are a US taxpayer, time to vote for someone else, or leave for another place that uses the taxes to serve honorable, accountable citizens. Don't pick up the tab for people who have no personal responsibility.

If you are a US citizen, look towards Puerto Rico. Act 20/22/60 allows almost zero income taxes, while safely keeping your US citizenship.

You can keep your US citizenship and not pay income tax up to 120k if you work and reside in another country for 330 days a year.

If you are willing to give up US citizenship, look at YouTube channels like Nomad Capitalist and Offshore Citizen.

Don't let your own taxes be used to feed welfare leeches.

  5. That's right Biden doesn't have that authority. Americans will be less off. Sir, your ignorant! Tell us who will pay for it and don't say government because govt gouges the people through many means starting with higher taxes. Take your Social programs and stick them.

  6. Praying it happens. Just this time cause of the pandemic. These people have study and cause of the pandemic it cause turmoil in their grades, attendance and studies. I had a student loan back in the 90s I paid it off but the world was open and easy to continue to do my studies if I wished.

  7. So glad I joined the military, becoming a disabled veteran, so I could pay for college without student loans, only to have student loans forgiven anyway… Unfair…

  8. So, we have a loan program that doesn't have to be paid back by the borrower but instead paid by the taxpayer. Logic says we end the program immediately.

  9. I think people should explain extenuating circumstances in order to have partial loan forgiveness. It would be fair versus a blind forgiveness. Priority should be given to people with disabilities, terminal illness, cancers, those who have no family support, those with disabled parents and had to be their caretakers, those currently receiving public assistance and already proved low income or no income status, those who were affected by huge natural disasters or lost their homes including those who are homeless, those with one or more parents who died during military service, etc. There are ways all of these people can provide proof.

  10. Just to be clear, there is no plan to eliminate student debt…there is a plan to transfer that debt to those who dont owe it…another rotten scoundrel move from this azzwhole.

  11. “The President doesn’t have the power to forgive student debt. That has to be an act of congress.” — Nancy Pelosi
