  1. GOP governed states are failed turd world states. The only thing the GOP ever do is give endless corporate welfare and cut taxes for the 1% at the expense of everybody else.

  2. The racism expressed here is amazing. They are blaming white people leaving for this problem?? So does that mean African Americans need white people to take care of them??? The city of Jackson has been controlled by Democrats for a very long time. Yes it's the Capital of a Republican state, but the water issue is a city problem. No other city in Mississippi, to my knowledge, has these problems with the water and sewer system. Why, maybe it's because of the way they are ran. Not because of what color people run them.

  3. Why was white flight a problem? I thought that blacks built and maintained good cities — and isn't diversity a strength? So wait, enough whites have to stick around to keep the infrastructure working for blacks? Is that our job, to maintain infrastructure for blacks?

  4. With all that money they sent to Ukraine they could have redone the whole pipe system in Jackson and many other places in the U.S. Your government wouldn't make any money off of this so why should they care. Lets Go Brandon.

  5. During the flood 93 we lost our water plant. I learned to take a shower with two gallons of water. The national guard would fill my car up with water and I would hand it out to the neighbors. I collected rainwater to flush the toilet. There was a lot of rain. I feel for the people of Mississippi. Where i live now you can't drink the water. I wish, I was back drinking my river water. Good luck to the people of Mississippi. It gets really old buying bottled water but i will not ever take it for granted.

  6. WTF? This is America people. Someone in the Government better step the fuxk up NOW
THEY'RE LIKE A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA. WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR GOVERNMENT? GIVE THESE POOR PEOPLE WATER NOW. ABSOLUTELY DISGISTING

  7. I know two things, one thing for sure…With all that negativity coming from that State about my elected President of the USA, I sure hope they don't reach out their hands for assistance to the very National Government they so hate…

  8. I bet they are grateful for Biden now and that build back better bill that was passed that I'm certain Mississippi's elected leaders voted against…Oh the irony…

  9. I mean 10 billion to Ukraine, 2 billion to fix this. But because of recent corruption I’d contract it myself and have it done if I were the fed. But the state won’t allow it so it won’t happen

  10. You go to the redest state and even then the largest problems in the state always occur in the bluest city in the state. Notice every place that's blowing up right now all have the same thing in common, democrats in control.

  11. They need to sue all the company’s dumping in the Mississippi River for everyone having PFAS/PFOS in their bodies. It’s an American problem when you compare to other countries

  12. They are taking a play out of govenor of Fergusons play book. Remember Trump praised that governor for what he did to the population of Ferguson..

  13. We been dealing with boil water alerts for most of this year. It’s been a problem instead of fixing it just patch it up they just didn’t know when the system would fail.

  14. Don't you see what they're doing here? Instead of fixing it with their own tax payers money, the politicians in Mississippi let this become a crisis so they could get that sympathy bail out from the federal government. DON'T LET THEM DO IT!! These are the same people who attempted to overthrow our government to install a DICTATOR!! Well go ask Trump for your bailout!! He's still YOUR President.
