  1. So the company is liable for minors getting ahold of products meant for of-age adults? Well, I guess I should sue Hollywood cause I watched a Rated-R movie when I was a kid

  2. I would have preferred they hadn't been offered a settlement. This basically to me says that Juul believes they would have lost in court…also imagine what could have been made public from the behind the scenes emails and Court Discovery process.

  3. I just want to know one thing what slush fund for the states does the money go into I'll guarantee you the taxpayers will not see a dime of that money we always hear about these multi-million dollar settlements to States from Big corporations yet nothing is said about where the money is going it's just like the lotto scam there are major problems with the way State comptrollers handle settlement money and Lottery money

  4. Including my daughter when she was only 12! Not blaming the company AT ALL! It’s all over the place now, and it’s easily assessable. Its no different than kids getting ahold of cigs like I did. Not only that Juul isn’t the only vape company!

  5. THESE TYPE OF LAWSUITS TO COMPANIES ARE FRAUD.. BECAUSE THE PPL ARE NOT GETTING PAID … WHERE IS THIS MONEY GOING BECAUSE ALOT OF US ARE OWED MONEY FROM NUMEROUS OF COMPANIES THAT WE NEVER SEE A DIME FROM … THESE LAW MAKERS ARE GETTING MORE AND MORE SCAMMISH

  6. If they made billions, this is just another slap on the wrist…the cost of doing business… the price to ensure that nothing changes. Welcome to Americanistan.

  7. This trend of the government getting millions and billions of dollars with these settlements that does not end up with the 'victims' is nothing more than criminal theft. The way this used to work is the company was ordered to stop doing the illegal practice (which was clearly defined in law) paid a fine (which was clearly defined by law) and if they did not they were closed. How is the government raking in billions with these fines any better? They effectively grant monopolies to these giant corporations and then siphon off some of the profit.
