3. I was in st croix while this storm passed.. 85-100mph gusts… we got 6 inches of rain in the hotel I was staying at.. I helped the hotel staff vacuum the water off the base floor and helped the electrician get diesel to the generator that powered everybody’s rooms.. it felt amazing to help people and really get a good feeling from a vacation that I’ve never felt before.. god bless Puerto Rico I hope they can solve the power issue going on there

14. I wouldn't send them a dime until they change the infrastructure to match the weather. Storm drains, run off canals, buried power lines. Why would you keep doing the same thing expecting a different result, oh yeah…….

15. Let’s see if we stop sending trillions of dollars to Taiwan and other countries and see if we give it to the islands that we supposedly care about and that are a part of the United States. I wonder if they’re governors or people that run their islands or call the president to tell him the same thing. And hold him accountable. Which a good president would do if he cared about the American people and not just the future dollar

16. Personally, I feel Washington D.C. & the 5 Island Territories (Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, & American Samoa) should be granted full statehood already. Being an American living in these 6 Territories is today's version of "No taxation without representation," since the people there are guaranteed citizenship at birth, pay taxes using U.S. currency, serve in the U.S. military, & can vote in the Primaires, but they can't vote for President (except for D.C.) nor do they have Congressmen that can vote on legislation. Plus, with statehood, the number of Representatives in Congress stays the same, its just there would now be 112 Senators & 423 in the House, with 12 Senators & about 9 members of the House representing these 6 new states.
