I do setup all phones in the family. Previously, my dad saved all the contacts to phone instead of Gmail, got it stolen and lost everything. Now we don't have to worry about that. Everything is backed up.

I am their recovery email so I get all the Google alerts when they open dodgy websites which try to hack their Gmail.
Mine end up disappearing from my clouds as soon as my phone breaks, so I have multiple copies everywhere now just in case 😅🤣
