8. Hurricane Charles hit Orlando, Florida in 2004 while I was working in GA. My wife told me not to come home yet because the streets were so messed up with trees and traffic lights falling down. However, I came home anyway. Luckily, I did not get this feeling about Charles. But, I got little bit feeling about hurricane French few months later.

27. absolutely crazy seeing my home town in big news stories. You never expect something like this to happen until it does. My grandparents house was hit and their neighborhood was one of the worst. My mom and uncle helped escort police and ambulances around the neighborhoods today. Absolutely insane

30. Me and my family live in bowling green my heart breaks for all the people who lost there homes the tornado hit six miles from our home we evacuated and thank God it didn't get to us it was on its way to us but it never made it but thank God me my wife and our babies were ok

31. I cannot imagine what it feels like to feel completely helpless at the hands of Mother Nature. My heart and prayers go out to all have suffered as a result of these tornadoes.

32. My God! I can't even fathom how scary that was for those who were caught in the paths of those violent tornadoes. I can't imagine how LOUD the devastation was. May God be with them and walk with them through the journey of healing and recovery.
