  1. You mentioned the literal main character like 2 times in the whole video. Nothing about the main controversy of this game. What kind of a review even this? Sounded like it came from Sucker Punch themselves

  2. I liked the original and enjoyed it very much, but I wasn't crazy about its story. From what I see here it's more and much more of the same which is fine. It's been a while since Sony released an actual exclusive, so I am glad they haven't messsed it up.

  3. 2nd parts of great games are never easy (dark souls, MGS2, the last of us, modern God of War…). This one looks like it has some cool new stuff like the weapons variety on one hand, but the story seems much more of a common place in comparaison with the first one. I guess it all comes down to what you value more in a game.

  4. I played GoT until two weeks ago. I have GoY Collector's Edition on pre-order since it was available to do it, can't wait for the release next week. I was hoping that the story would have some continuity in like Atsu taking the persona of the Ghost based on the legend of Jin Sakai. Regardless, I'm sure it will be a great game with an enjoyable story. Also very much looking forward to GoY: Legends

  5. I’m excited about this game! I loved ghost of Tsushima and this game really looks like an upgrade with all the new activities, mechanics, music, visuals, etc. Of course they couldn’t do the same story twice. I think it’s great what they did here. I can’t wait to play it.

  6. I'm sorry, but I just can't stand that protagonist. It's like looking at spit in a painting. It's pointless to have such graphics if I have to look at that character, whose head clearly belongs to another body. She's too repulsive.

  7. “She’s not a samurai like Jin Sakai, concerned with honor and, like, the ways of the culture and you know, the balance – she’s just a mercenary.”

The allure of Tsushima was the conflict between being a samurai but still stooping so low as to assassinate targets. How does Jin deal with that? Do the ends justify the means? Where do you draw the line? Is he still Jin Sakai or did he change into what he was fighting against?

They removed this deep conflict and the emotional impact. Can it get any more generic than that?
A nobody, with a tragic backstory that has something against the world.
It looks nice and plays well probably, but it is hollow know.

  8. I want an earlier PC release. Don’t want to get a PS5 just to play this one. I absolutely loved the Ghost of Tshushima directors cut.

  9. As a fan of previous game I won't be buying this game, as it seems to be just a spin-off or a DLC-sort of thing. Environment and combat seems the same, but no Jin, uninteresting female protagonist (with idiot actress), weak story of revenge, no samurai feel and overall it's just off.

  10. A company that fires someone over expressing their negative feelings about Charlie Kirk doesn’t deserve a dime, no matter how good the game is. Boycott Sucker Punch, these little cowards.

  11. Don't care about the haters. Others might want a repitition of Tsushima and Jin, but I wouldn't put my money on it. Since this is completely different and new, I'm excited to buy and experience it ✨

  12. Looks so much like the main game, they could change some stuff with dropping the title of ghost instead use a renowned commander etc. to add siege mechanics wasted opportunity.
