I might as well buy 2 fold 7 and duct tape em and make a quad fold phone
This phone is more like a very cool prototype and a huge publicity boost for Huawei after some tough years for the company than a really polished consumer product. Still very cool they designed and even released this, though.
Now that huawei has jumped over the hurdle of actually engineering a mass production triple folding phone, all thats left is iterative improvements and software overhaul.
This form factor dosent need changes anymore. It needs refinement. More durability. More battery. Optimized software etc.
Eventually once the dream of a true pocket tablet has been achieved they can move on to making the software and specs capable of making a pocket laptop.
Imagine carrying this phone as a unfolding device with the chipset and power of a laptop in your pocket and a foldable keyboard/trackpad alongside it
Ipads are so very close to being comparable to low end laptops in performance. Unfortunately its limited by ios. Android or any other software company willing to make a version specific to foldables will have the answer ready even if the manufacturer dosent

Memba when most people used to call these monstrosities phablets? And then a year later they were using their new "phone" 2 handed while no longer able to keep it in their front pocket? While doing the same shit on their phone as they did when it was "small"?
If anything, people needed larger screens 15 years ago when there weren't as many apps or mobile websites.
So thanks to all the shoulder shrugging hypocrites and corporate donkeys as to why the most powerful phone-size Android is still the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact from 2017.

5G, NFC and so many limitations will be resolved with HarmonyOS 5 update, it'll become a beast of a phone
after many many problems… you guys are crazy thinking this device is worth anything.
