We all love Android, but it’s easy to sometimes have blinkers on when it comes to looking at what the opposition does well (or occasionally… better!). Android’s biggest rival has been the iPhone for years now, and that’s led to some longstanding myths among the Android community about iOS devices that aren’t always accurate. In this video, we’re debunking some of those myths that still exist in 2025.

  1. The funny thing is, when iPhones are missing something, it's not a big deal. Like, they use this workaround for a feature, but then MagSafe shows up and it's suddenly a problem? How? You need extra stuff for MagSafe, and most people use cases anyway, just like Android users. And the back button? Some apps have a back button on top left corner, some let you swipe left, others you swipe down. But Android? You swipe back from either side. For Android users, PIP is just a nice extra, and there are tons of options.
And no one talk about Iphone camera App setting 😂

  2. Your whole point about apps needing 2 code bases is factually false. There are platforms that let you have 1 code base which is then build for iOS and Android and pushed to the stores. Take Flutter or Capacitor as an example. It is true that if you write a native iOS app in Swift there is no easy way to get it to Android but so is writing a native Android app in Java or Kotlin. This video is written like how a flat earther thinks, you have your conclusion that ios is better so you nitpick things to get to that conclusion.

  3. 1:08 >>>> that lack of smoothness of the 60hz refresh rate display makes me feel like wasting money if I buy the base models. Real trash! And just exaclty you just said in 3:55 "cannot believe in 2024 pixels don't have magsafe built in, or Q2, Samsung doesn't have Qi2…" BUT LOL ULTRA MEGA HYPER LMAO!!! You must apply the same rule to display refresh rate!!! LMAO!!! IN 2025, Apple's base iphone models DOESN'T have 120Hz refresh rate!!! I will be waiting for you to scream out loud that the same way you bursted the Magsafe/Qi2 issue!

  4. why i switched to android is sideloading. the mess that still to this day is ios sideloading is just not worth the pain or annoyances for me. i get sideloadly, altstore, and sidestore but paying extra just to "sign" an app on a device you own is so anti-consumer its unreal. same with having to remember to press a button once a week to refresh apps.
but its Apple, anti-consumerism is what they are all about nowadays.

  5. please google how to use split screen, its like watching a video and have a note open below to type, not expecting to have 2 games open and play both of em at the same time, also pip is multi tasking but not at an actual split screen level of multi tasking,

  6. For people who still want their back button on their phones which I use on my iPad you can set up the virtual back button in settings where you can allocate three functions to the button it's quite handy on an iPad.

  7. You’re right about MagSafe being a game changer. I can’t recall the last time I actually used a chord to charge my iPhone. It’s especially useful in my car to just mount my phone via MagSafe without having to fill with a chord (also easy to rotate to landscape view for maps)

  8. 1. the back button. the back button is pointless and sometimes its actions are unpredictable. 2. well, he said the number bar is pointless, or just use an external keyboard. 3. a phone is too small for that. if you need splitscreen, use an ipad. 4. magsafe charging can be faster. also, it removes the need for a physical port that can wear out and break. also magsafe allows you to use all these accessories and there are locations and charging pads where you conveniently put your phone on it, and youre charging. on the darkside with weaker basic qi, its slower and less efficient. 5, theres all types of cool accessories for iphones. theres clear cases, colored cases where you can mix colors like you could on the iphone 5c, you also get airpods which have great sound. 6, ok, whoever thought of that pulled that out of their @$$. that is not a reasonable thought. i have always been correct about android users lack of intelligence. and it doesnt surprise me.

  9. I didn't even realize he was still speaking after he said split screen was a gimmick. Everything with Android is always a gimmick to iPhone users because, their phones aren't capable of doing the most simple and useful thing. iPhones are backwards innovation. They're your grandparents smartphones. Backwards, confusing and unuseful boring devices that are always the targets of hacks.

  10. Magsafe is a big deal?? It's the best form of wireless charging, but I'll pick fast charging with a brick in the box all day every day. Thank you OnePlus

  11. Are you unaware that in using secondary keyboards. You can have numbers on the top row? Mine has them now with SwiftKey. Maybe only in the us.

  12. The number row thing is really annoying, but I didn't know about the swipe to the number position trick before.

MagSafe I feel is just a cute thing to have. I'm good with having just regular wireless charging and it works for me. But then it's something that you don't know you need until you actually have it. I just don't see what that would be.

For apps, what are some "unique" iOS apps you're talking about?? Cuz I don't really know of any. And you already said it, sideloading an app takes a couple more steps, which is already a turnoff.

I do have to say, Android runs laps around iOS when it comes to app updates. I remember using an iPhone 3gs and apps would update and you would see that circle updating on your homescreen, and sometimes it would just stop and you don't know what's going on with it. Well, now that same problem is still happening it's like they haven't fixed it at all. That, and Android's background update just works so well.

    Btw I'm using a Pixel 9.
