These photos look like caricatures. I wanted to buy the phone but the inability to turn off over processing really put me off it
Another paid review. This Phone sucks a lot. Ai processing can not be stopped. Natural pictures look but after the forced processing its just rubbish, blurry, lost details. Is it that difficult to let the user choose what setting is the best ?
Pixel photos here compared to honor look like garbage to be honest
I think that you can turn off the AI enhance feature in portrait mode.
Funny how the devices are all different.. I don't have is portrait mode on my honor magic 7 pro I looked everywhere the symbol does not appear when trying to take a portrait photo .. can a tone help or confirm

What dummy at honor thought for one second anyone who uses android would wsnt a stupid apple dynamic island on a device? They should be fired whomever they are lol
These portraits look like a overexposed oversaturated mess. The Magic 5 and 6 pros took great portraits, I'm sure these will look better when turning off this AI bs
Ordered mine today after returning the OnePlus 13. The OnePlus was so disappointing.
Using this much AI in portrait mode is changing the real moment itself which I personally don't like. I prefer to have more natural photos with less details rather than a photo that AI added stuff that they are not there in the first place. AI can be beneficial to fix the colors, remove blur but NOT add artificial facial hair to make it look better!
I'm all for AI for improving zoom photos or even videos. But "changing" how a person actually looks like… Hmm maybe not :/
How many cameras on the back does it actually have? Official specs say 3, but for some reason……it looks like it has 4.
Why is Honor always highlighting photography! we don't want cameras on phones as the main feature! It's annoying to see big cameras on all mobile phones
Honor photos looks horrible!
If it wasn't for the terrible PWM on the Pixel 9, that would be the only Android phone to consider. Honor 7 Pro has 4320 hz while Pixel 9has 240 hz, lowest in the world atm. What are the people from google thinking..
I want enhanced, of course! What is the point of having all this tech and expensive phone in first place, if I'll have the same result as having a basic camera from the past. Especially with quick selfies in busy places like streets, cinemas, restaurants and you are on the move, it is so easy to ruin the photo by blinking or making some silly face or talking or not noticing your hair is shittier now than 30 min ago….this AI enhancing look like the answer. If you want realism go for DSLR, stay still for 1 hour in the studio and you'll have astonishing image quality with real you. For a busy life and travelling I think this phone, on this price, is the best bargain for 2025 :))
Im a huge Honor fan, but Pixel has the way better photos here. More natural and a lot sharper. Its not even close.
The Honor Magic 7 Pro will likely be priced over €1,000 in Europe, while in China it costs just €750. To make matters worse, the European version offers fewer years of software and security updates. Charging a premium price for an inferior product reflects poorly on Honor’s treatment of the European market.
Comparisons both suck. It’s like comparing hard sh!t and diarrhea. Stop using phones for cameras and by a REAL camera.
This doesn’t look good at all, extremely artificial looking
@1:47 the white man got yellow-ed out, as is quite common error of white balance.. (happens to me too) So that AI isn't there yet 😂
Basically, the AI enhancement, YUK!
Ok so this or OP13? I am stuck between the two.
The AI wasn't enough to beat the Pixel though. Skin tone, dynamic range, and overall quality.
AI zoom is here already! I got the update about 10 days ago.
They got AI super zoom I eve got it on my magic 6 pro
It looks like upscaled by Remini. It's good for first generation but it needs improvement to make it more natural
yeah; pretty bad AI usage here
every year, honor could do good, every year they still manage to : deceive with deceptive tactics, have a very very bad marketing and just make me wonder how can they just think about all this ?
so much potential, but bad exploitation of it with the worst marketing ever (rebadging everything they had last year as "AI" for example)
artificial smoothness looks awful
What about Vivo x200 pro?
Honor is a far better device then Overrated pixels.
Actually pixel is one of the most unreliable brand in the world..
Most people I know using pixel, are unhappy..
Honor's camera has so many setting to get the perfect results according to peoples need..
AI isn't "our" favorite phase. In fact many don't like it.
How does this compare to the Vivo X200 Pro camera wise ?
The honors photos look terrible. Way too overprocessed and fake looking. That's not what people are looking for
Not even close,, please compare it to the pixel 4 or something
am i only the one who thinks pixel was clear winner here rather than honor . pixel was natural and more pleasantly vivid & beautiful than honor .
Hy sir , please make a zoom on the Moon, how it loks?? It îs better than Samsung galaxy s24 ultra?
I want a nice phone. I'm thinking of the One Plus 13 pro but man the cameras okay but I wish it was great. This camera on the honor seems great, but I might grab the Samsung but it's so goddamn pricey so I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet about probably 4 months away from my purchase
Nice feature, but too artificial.
Pixel still looks better
just give both photos at the same time – or having a choice of turning off/on AI
No, it did NOT establish that. Wtf were you smoking? Magic6 Pro is notoriously bad compared to budget let alone flagship level photography
It's one of the most well balanced phone out there, and the camera is nothing short of amazing
I suppose that both, having a choice of using AI or not is the way to go, more is always more in this case
More vivid, but also more cooked – honestly, I don't like it. Too artificial.
