5. ACA was a godsend, because many of us had no insurance for years and years. Raising kids without insurance! Wasn't affordable for us. Both of us worked but we couldn't afford health insurance. How ridiculous is that? I am old now and on Medicare. I am scared that it will be jerked out from we older ones. I am still working btw.

16. Bernie Sanders ran for president twice on a a platform including Medicare For All. Establishment Democrats did everything to stop him. AIPAC, the pro-Israel political group, spent millions of dollars per election with Republican money, to primary Dem candidates and House members who supported Medicare For All. California tried to pass a Medicare For All-type bill for that state, but Gavin Newsom opposed it. Wake up.

17. I'm in North Carolina, got my bill last month and my ACA healthcare premium increased by $1,385. per month. I called to ask why, and the person responded by suggesting I submit an appeal. I decided to just cancel the policy. It's a little scary not having healthcare. I healthy, but I'm also 60 years old. Eeek
