  1. Chris has created a superb example by utilizing PowerShell to create tools such as his Windows Toolbox. Definitely an awesome utility! Thank you for creating, maintaining and updating your Windows Toolbox! I've used it a few times, and it's capabilities and features are top tier. 🙂

I purchased a group of PowerShell training courses that prepare one for Windows PowerShell certification testing. It's basically a program designed to learn automating system administration using Windows PowerShell. I think it's about time to learn a bit more about Windows and PowerShell. I have several years of JavaScript experience so PowerShell scripting should be easier for me to learn.

  2. Essential for anyone making art or science on the computer. we cant have all our data collected by recall and stolen for “AI profit”. Very thankful to have your tools.

  3. great idea. Unfortunately, what I predict is, that sooner or later MS will come with components/registry settings that will be cryptographically signed rather than it limits powershell oir similar. Something like SetFTA (Asssociations). MS was pissed that people tweaked asociations so that they coded it. Not via asymetric keys yet. But it will arrive. I think MS will protect it's bloatware with keys. Both-ways :everything: is now possible even for microsoft. Computationally feasible. They will want prevent projects like yours to be spread. and I love what you do. I have my own de-bloating powershell script for years.

  4. thanks for good vidéos..but can you activate CC because for french People american accent is difficult to understand ..For understanding i must setup speed to 0.75..thanks to enable subtitle ….

  5. Chris or anyone, I'm trying to use your tool to install programs, like Zoom and ffmpeg and the tool shows me the prompt: "User Credential Prompt….Do you want to attempt 0 installation with Specific user credentials? I select yes or no and enter my computer username and password and it stops and does not work. Can you please help?

  6. My best decision ever was toggling security updates only and then debloating the shit out of Windows 11 so Microsoft couldn't touch me. No don't say I should switch to Linux, I have genuine reasons to use Windows, and no, don't interrogate me for those reasons so you can "fix them", it's my PC, not yours, I pick the OS.

  7. We're working with an embedded single board computer running Windows 11. Any and all crap that can be removed is a win in our eyes. The only thing i can't seem to find is a tool that includes disabling windows defender. Most of the tools attempt it but there will always be traces running in the background eating at ether cpu time or ram. Your solutions so far enabled us to go from 1.4GB ram back to 800MB. Is there more that can be done for embedded systems that only need to run 1 application (or service?) and need local network access?

  8. I love this! I do understand that you want to remove a lot, however there is one feature that I can’t live without, and that is Microsoft garage power toys. The Alfred alternative for windows is absolutely amazing. And I do think that it’s something most people don’t know about, and a slim version of that to be included in this would be absolutely epic. It adds so much ease and if we could get a slim version of that baked into this, it would just level it up in my opinion. Keep up the good work. Definitely a supporter!

  9. I love this. People often say paranoia is a bad thing, but I say it's a basic survival instinct that keeps us ahead of the game in worst-case scenarios. Let's hope it's never necessary, like the last $20 bill I keep under my shoe insole when traveling abroad, but still nice to have this peace of mind.
