Thanks for all the work! Love your tools 🙂
Develop a way to play all windows games on linux 😭
Please do a video on building the Linux kernel with kernel customization.
O feel we are just getting started here!
Is the Windows Util something I should run each time I boot my pc, or run it every so often or just after a windows update and it resets things that the windows util had disabled? Cheers
A follower's request: debain-based distros user. I've been trying for a while to find how to join my ext4 home with an additional disk (btrfs) under my user, and stumbled onto lots of "ways", but none that I figured how to work properly: LVM, Bind, Sub-volume, chagning the mount point in fstab. If you could present a step-by-step fool-proof way to do this it would suite me just fine as one. Sencerely, thanks for your dedication to research things and presenting them.
Anyone these days can claim they are a developer LOL
Try Zen Browser, brue.
Kudos and respect for your work CT. Is it possible to teach an AI how to be a linux tutor? I want to download an AI into my linux laptop and have it teach me stuff…or at least answer my questions. I stopped asking questions in the forums years ago.
Going to learn rust just to contribute to the Linux toolbox
linuxUtil >> linutil
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Will linutil work on nixos too?
Thanks for all the work put into this tool. It’s essential for Windows especially with all the garbage they are stuffing into the operating system and are planning to. I use my machine for audio production and it feels so much snappier with the OS stripped down. 👍
i don't agree. from support to developer is a big step and compromises which i believe it is not worth it!
Chris, what do you think about the updates with Nobara 40? Seems like the Linus UTL could be awesome in the future to streamline so much of the junk needed in Linux paired with Nobara seems like a win!
I hope Louis Rossmann sees this and gives Chris props!
This is fantastic. Thanks for the contributions.
Me seeing awesome content from an awesome creator… Oops! I clicked the Subscribe button! 🙂
Maybe call it /linutil sh
Don’t forget about us crazy MacOS users. 😂
Now I don't want to kill the hype but now that the project is becoming popular and considering the nature of it, wouldn't it become a target for malicious people trying to infiltrate the project and write malicious code on it?
Just wanted to thank you for win util. Helped my sis get her laptop up and running from scratch.
She is/was a dinosaur when it comes to Using computers and was unable to create new Gmail account. After I showed her winutil she is now downloading apps she needs to apply for jobs (pdf creator, only office etc) and able to keep her winodws running smoothly using your debloaters.

"Titus Toolbox for Windows"
"Titus Toolbox for Linux"
I'd recommend keeping the branding the same.
I did a 2 year University education as a .NET/C# Developer. Exam in 2015. Sent out 400 job-applications over the years, with pretty much nothing but rejections. This is in Europe Btw. There is no shortage of Developers. They are looking for John Carmack or Steve Wozniak type of engineer. The James Bond of programming. I would not recommend going into this scam industry. It's filled with people who can't pay their devs what they're worth. It's just a bunch of criminal enterprises masquerading as "legitimate" companies.
Titlux
@ChrisTitusTech also, Any recommendations for Linux distributions for Pentesting?
@ChrisTitusTech how do you do that. Which programming languages do you learn, practice and use, especially for the Windows tools you've created!
Hey titus one question for YOU!!
As thorium browser is fastest and lightweight
But it has received last upgrade since may 2024
Is it safe to use??
And are you using it now?!
Thanks~
You getting jazzed with this really got me jazzed about sw development path which I have not dedicated much time into. As usual, thanks for sharing!
Man I'd just like to say a big thank you for your work and countless hours of time your dedicating to this project. Its going to be huge and make things so much easier for newbies to just get their system running
Excited to check out LinUtil, Chris! Wishing you nothing but success and inspiration. Anything that makes it easier to customize and streamline our desktop Linux experience is awesome. And from a coverage point of view — keep me posted!
This is just off the top of my head, so it's probably really dumb, but how about integrating LinUtil into an existing Linux utility like Stacer?
thank you for being such a resourceful badass
Doesn't surprise me 100ks of people have used the ChrisTitusTech windows in just the last two months. I use it every time I do a fresh Windows install, it has become an essential Windows tool.
Hey Chris, I think you should consider doing something like Proton or Port Proton for Linux users or just contribute to these projects to migrate people from Windows to Linux.
Never enough dEv
Big W Love utility
can I get your advice for job change?
oh i thought you were a developer already lol
You have a nice full head of hair, don't become a developer.
Love it man! Keep up the good work!
I would buy your product in Linux but looks like windows for us older folk?
I would gladly pay for a Linux version of Toolbox. I would have invested in the windows toolbox, but even for $10 I don't believe it's worth it since Microsoft treats Windows the way they do. I would gladly contribute more than $10 for the linux version. Sure Linux isn't perfect, but and I'll just leave it at that. Right now I'm using Bazzite and most of it fantastic. I basically have 2 issues to learn to resolve, Bazzite is buggy after waking it up from sleep and I have to learn how to use Streamcontroller. In a sense, I suppose it's worth it because of the work you're doing for the PC enthusiast a way of showing support.
