Having Fun at the Last Farmers Market of the Year

Today is a very cold and snowy last Ithaca Farmers Market of the year, and it’s the annual Rutabaga Curl! This is a quirky, fun Ithaca tradition that is a fitting end to the 2024 selling season at the farmers market.

  1. Hi everyone, I will be taking a break from making YouTube videos during the first part of January (I am not sure exactly how long) to rest and recharge. Hilarie and I wish you all a Happy New Year!

  2. Hey Pete! I would like to be like you and sell our chickens are the farmers market.

Problem is, I’ve never done meat birds and and a little intimidated by the processing portion.

My main concern is doing it humanely, as to avoid mistakes that could cause distress for the bird.

Can you please consider either a series of videos on how to run meat birds. Hatch to processing.

Thanks Pete and we love the videos!

  3. don't take this wrong, but it looks like you get along more with the camera then the people? conversate with the people more? where you're from, etc.

  4. why do you sell the ground beef at a very high price? if you have a tons of it, why not knock down the price for $2.00 in change, maybe $2.50, you know ground beef is just scrap pieces of beef grind down to make ground beef?

  5. I just watched your video "approaching the 4:27
Do what's best for you. You have been an encouragement to me at a season of my life, and I appreciate your thoughts, advice, and words of wisdom. If we seek God first, all will align. Thanks, Pete and Hillary.

  6. Hi Pete and Hilarie, we sure are missing your videos especially my house bound husband. I think he is having withdrawals. But he'll survive. Hope you two are getting some well deserved rest and recharging. Just letting you know how much we like watching you two and all the farm stuff.
