Cattle breeding season is over, and today we are reuniting the herd, including our two bulls: Titus and Orden. Cattle herds have a pecking order, from the youngest calves all the way up through the bulls. Who will become the herd bosses?

I've been back to see all the bullfights. I'm on team Ordin–Titus is going down in 2025! (I like 'em both, of course–just rooting for the underbull).ðŸ®ðŸ¤

How do you decide when intervention is needed versus letting them settle naturally? Especially with older, heavier bulls—some can get seriously injured battling it out.
Totally natural, agreed. Very similar to Okinawan bull fighting.
I see a HUGE difference in your farming compared to where I grew up in Vanouver, WA… the cows out there… so DEPRESSED! And you got some very HAPPY cows which makes me smile to see. And I can tell you do your job well… and that you love what you do. THATS what makes the difference… I bet the meat from your farm tastes so GOOD! because it's been prepared with LOVE! 🙂 So awesome to see this! Thanks again
No offense… 0:57 yall look related…..
Even rabbits do it.
They fight infront of the females to make sure the females get the best 'alpha'/defender, however they know they have you for defense so it's different then how it goes down in the wild. In the wild sometimes a stallion will fight a bachelor and end up giving the bachelor some of his own females to go build his own herd with because that bachelor was good enough to defend the females.
Bovine Husbandry, is most differently not the wrong way.
Hillarie is so adorable—always smiling encouragement and doing her part!
a whole lesson on Fitness in Nature is part of most biology courses. If people would stop and ask why instead of 'thats not right' then they would get it…survival of the fittest is an axiom in nature. just saying. And if you don't like this don't watch it!
I would just like to thank you for all the honesty that you have on your blog. I enjoy that tremendously and you telling it how it is I was raised on a farm as a boy and my roots are still there just turned 69 years old, but still going strong. Keep up the old traditions Pete love your show. Take care. God bless your family and you.
Play I've been watching your videos down for about probably close to 4 years or so and I took your advice on a lot of stuff and all what I've done here in the last year and everything and all as far as get a farm going and stuff and all and did y'all have up there in New York but if everything goes okay doing me and my brother we started a farm with livestock with cows pigs and and chickens and eggs and stuff and all about 2 or 2 months ago we started adding dairy cows to where we can we can have dairy products and stuff and all fresh milk and stuff and all and then back I guess it was back in September we started building a market to where we're going to have a fresh market and stuff with produce and meat and stuff on it now like I said we've been watching your videos and all we took your advice to how to do this we should be able to around the 1st of February we should be able to start producing pork and beef I just want to thank you for all the help that you've given me lower the last several years of listening and watching your videos I am very thankful Petekeep on and get back into the pig business and all because I miss seeing you messing with the pigs now that you've kind of done away with the pigs

You two are an adorable couple and team partners!â¤ðŸ’ª
Oh, that Hilarie always amazes me at how she can work and what she can handle on the Farm. What a great partner she is. Fun to see the bulls and how they establish dominance.
Do you ever have to have your cow's hooves trimmed
Thank you, Patty, for allowing Pete and Hilary to share time with us.😅
I always love these videos its what nature intended ..
Hey Pete. Just curious how your pumpkins did on the manure pile this year. I planted some on my manure pile after watching your video and they did ok. Love your videos! My wife and I watch them during our lunch time. Thanks Rob Wyant

Wonder what makes International 656 3 point hitch jumpy when it's going down using draft with bush hog.
Loved the video, the old tractors are fabulous.
Thanks Pete.
I don’t think my heart could take another heart break for Titus… He was soooo sad last year. I almost cried with him. My husband rewatched the match and he was just as disappointed as Titus. #TeamTitus
Love your channel! How do you prevent wild animals or raptors from attacking your chickens?
We can't wait for patty to be dethroned….
Do cows ever gang up on one during the pecking order battles
