  1. Wifi 6E released in 2021 and we are starting to see the rollout of 6E devices this year. See List of 6E Devices below. REMEMBER: Wifi 6 uses 5 Ghz and Wifi 6E uses 6Ghz
Linux support for 6E isn't widespread yet, but I did get this working after publish using nmcli directly. My iperf speeds increased to 1.6 Gbps.
This new 6Ghz band is game changing comparing it to the old 2.4/5 Ghz systems. In the future, Wifi 7 will also release using the 6 Ghz band like 6E.

    Wifi 6E Devices
    Google Pixel 6

    Google Pixel 6 Pro

    Xiaomi Mi 11

    Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

    Asus ROG Phone 5

    Asus ZenFone 8

    Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

    Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus

  2. can someone help me out ? I've tried the 1gig 2gig and 5gig plan and all my test results are always the same. I have an iPhone 14 pro max an iPad pro 2021 12.9 an mac mini a ps5 a smart tv an android s20 ultra ……I mean dang the devices are well compatible enough to be able to handle the speed but when I test using that speed test that you use , I never ever get those speeds whether on Wi-Fi or hardwired annnnnd even with a cat 8 ethernet cable and hooking it up directly to the fiber modem nope still not as fast. Please help 🥲

  3. Amateur Radio operators…if you guys get access to the new WiFi 6E…please give us an idea about how it affects the bands.
For 2.4GHz…there is a clear interference on 145.200MHz FM..which I confirmed with few of my friends too. I don't have a 5GHz device yet to try. But I'd like to know…what the future has to offer…for us

  4. I have the regular WiFi 6 models of the Orbi for my house, I think they are awesome but seem limited in configuration options eg., setting DHCP dns to my pihole isn’t possible.

  5. Personally reaching 300mbits on an old 50$ router from netgear running OpenWRT, bridging the network from landlords network. Works great, since ethernet traffic is still at 1Gbit. 🙂

  6. My network is still on dualband AX but I am ordering the 6e router the coming week. I upgraded my XPS laptop to 6e already (similar card as yours from Amazon). In our neighborhood we have a lot of wifi networks and of course everyone is sitting on top of each other. I found channel 100 not being used at all so I am laughing. If you do a wardrive here in my area there are at least 8 top quality networks wide open (which can come in handy). I am meshing the current router upstairs so my kid can have more bandwidth because oh my…. iptv is buffering.
