â€Intro Music by Karl Casey @ White Bat Audioâ€
Thanks to Jesse for making the intro and graphic for us to enjoy!!

It's a Jeep/Chrysler product, it shouldn't be a surprise that it's a low quality cheap made unreliable vehicle that are known to have multiple problems and are expensive to repair. Pretty much like a Yugo ðŸ˜
Just dropped the subframe a little bit
It's less about removing an oil pan and has more to do with removing a component that resembles C3PO in Star Wars.
Anyone notice that once the windage pan was removed and sat down, that it looked like a face. LOL.
You get to use brake clean on the access panel. Woohoo.
Last week I slept with the window open and in flew enza..
The windage tray has a face! 29:30 hahaha Good to see you back buddy, having the flu is never fun. Poor design of the oil pan, that was one engineer that just give a damn about how hard removal would be and location of the drain bolt. Great video!!
I started to think the pan had a baffle horizontal above the pick up that would need a forward movement to disengage. Whaddaiknow.
Raise his hand: I think I can help with the whole plan, Pan situation
You said something closer to the end of the video about being more difficult than it had to be. And something else about garbage design. Both of those are because Chrysler, or Stellantis, or Fiat, or Daimler, or whoever they are this week. I had a struggle bus kind of day today, and after that oil pan, I wasn't alone. Great video as always Ray.ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
THE TRAY LOOKS LIKE A ROBOT FACE LOL
Been told about the pan gaskets that require oil pan replacement with them but never actually seen one or worked on one. Honestly thought it was just BS
Is the pan replacement on you? Just curious?
The first day back after an illness would have to be the worst day. For a moment there I thought Ray was losing touch with reality as he struggled with what should be an easy task of oil pan removal but turned into a real struggle. Then Wife Unit dropped his coffee! That would be enough to push me over the edge, not Our Ray though he fought back even knowing his coffee was all over the floor. Well done Ray in beating this Jeep down.
Hi Ray: I now am a old guy and I have found a carpet installers small crow bar & a normal size wonder bar are very handy for getting a stuck oil pan off without damaging it. also a block of wood and a utility knife for the gasket! I hope you try it!
Is there any decent vehicles that come out of America?
Sorry to hear that you were sick mate. Glad you’re feeling better. As always, thanks for the videos. ðŸ‘â¤ï¸
Is it me, or does the windage tray look like a robot head?
Brian you need to measure the windings to see if any are directly shorted. Bring to a motor shop they can verify if the windings are good or not if you don’t think you can do it.
Last time I did one of these I un-bolted the motor mount and lifted the engine up for clearance
Ray please invest in talking to your doctor about getting regular flu vaccine shots. Your wife unit will thank you for it.
Got 3.7 liter a great engine 188 thousand miles still going
Welcome back!
Oh no! Man flu!!!
Ray you wasn't in Alexandria Louisiana by any chance in a small white car with your wife?? If not then I seen your twin!! ðŸ˜
"Learned that in Nam" LMAO you are always entertaining! Keep them coming Ray
Welcome back, Ray! Glad you're feeling better. Keep up the expertise and the professionalism. By the way, the shop is looking great! I love the new look.
