  1. That was 1 heck of a good (valuable) vidio, tutorial, on the convoluted shifter, park lock, repair,,upgrade' for the 56 series IH tractors!!!!! Every single owner, operator of 56 series tractors, should send u at least 20$ (or more) for the education!!! + every single' 56 series tractor either needs, or will need those repairs!!;.. good job Pete!!!.. And a good example of why SO many people say: Everything from engine back on a IHC tractor (past the letter series) is junk!!! Lol,— 4 levers yep 4, to take out of park, put into gear, and shift from reverse to forward!!..park lever,-range selection lever,-gear selection lever,- torque lever, + ya have reach in a different direction, for each 1!!!,, a 4020 has 1 lol, hahaha…no wonder they went broke!!!.. + who needs 2 go 12+ mph in reverse??!!!.. what were they thinking about?? Lol… why didn't they just keep (upgrade) the 5 speed w/ torque=10 speed???… the world wonders;..?

  2. Your knowledge about tractors is impressive. I enjoy your videos and appreciate what you do. I am a subscriber and really enjoy all your farming videos. Keep up the great work.

  3. Great job you and i would get along great i am a stickler for details fix it right or dont even try if you dont have time to do it right when will you have time to do it over agian. Great job

  4. Pete, what you call cotter pins in the US we call split pins in the UK – for fairly obvious reasons – and we call cotter pins those tapered pins that hold bicycle pedals on. Just another difference between Imperial and Metric again I Guess!

  5. I enjoy everything about a tractor show. It’s hard to narrow down what to document. My favorite part, which you couldn’t capture on camera, is the smell of an old tractor still in it’s work clothes.

  6. Im from the netherlands and i own a farmall 826 (imported to denmark in the 80's i guess, and came to holland around 15-20 years ago). These videos really help me understand this stuff, here in europe you cant find many people who have knowlege of farmalls, so this stuff is really handy! big thanks and keep up the good work!

  7. Farmers have to be the best teachers. Cole the corn said today that our grandfather's had to teach their how to adjust the planters every year so wouldn't wear out. Farmer's had to the son and his son to not wear out. See how that works, that's how things last forever. Thank you for the words of wisdom Cole. Jon said the same thing the other day. My great-grandfather and my grandfather were master watchmakers and General manager of Hamilton watch company in Lancaster penn. I'm sad neither one lived long enough to teach any of his boys. We did play on his tools, parts in grand chest's from the old country. Every watch part was made and designed by them. What a great legecy. Jon your farm and equipment and your kids will be your Jon.
