In this video I have a look at a customer’s 2016 Ford Fusion that will not change to the defrost or to the floor position. The customer thought he needed a new body control module, but I told him we better have a look before heaving any parts at it. Good thing we did 😉
-Enjoy!

  1. Every time i have a job that requires working underneath the dash like this, i get reminded i'm getting older😂 We're not as flexible as we used to be! 😂

  2. My Ford Dealer stocks that actuator. The actuator has been superseded to a new number. I hope you don't get bit in the A** with that Dorman piece. The Ming Dynasty only cares about profit and quantity. Love the Dad Jokes!!!!! You have many talents. Super informative and entertaining !!!

  3. Got to do this on a 2011 Fusion. Great car, little trouble until now. I have the 'open circuit' code for the actuator that leaves it stuck on heat. It should be similar so thanks for the video.

  4. I always wondered what would happen in this situation. I just changed the blower motor.. What a 🍑 that was lol 😂 ('12 Ford Focus.) the big 2.0 lol

  5. The FORD place works this way, the DTC does not mention electrical issues, throw a motor at it due to the mechanical stuck subcode and good to go, get paid for hooking up the scanner to verify and GO GO GO, plus 1.6 hours to change it, lets see how long it takes you if you mention it as your video is short. Cheers

  6. Just watch The Wire repair on the Ford diesel with the aftermarket warranty. Too lazy to run down that video and Comment. Failure to perform. He can get his 3 thousand dollars back because the warranty company failed to perform. Charge back at his bank if he used a bank card credit card. A Verbal emotion in a open court So you can explain it to a judge Quickly. cost free💥💥🍔🍻🦦

  7. done this before on may fords.. the hvac motors (actuators) go bad all the time.. dual climate control just adds more motors basically. once you find them its pretty easy swap

  8. The manufactures seem to have a goal in their lives, to make everything complicated and almost impossible to reach and service. They need a strong dose of reality, MAKE ITSIMPLE AND EASIER TO SERVICE. I personlly don't want all the bells and whistles they stick in cars today. Remember the KISS principle, it makes life so muh easier.

  9. I'll be your camera lady Mr. O. There are just two problems, I'm not a lady and I don't have a camera. Let me know though when I can start.
