9. Ray, I have been following you since long before you opened your own shop. You’ve actually inspired my 52 year old self to go to school and get a degree in automotive technology. Watching the intro to this video actually brought tears to my eyes, because this is the exact type of thing I want to do, post grad. I’m going to open a shop for those that risk driving with their families, because lately auto repair has become prohibitively expensive. I would rather not have such a fat bank account, at the expense of others safety. Thanks for being awesome, and inspiring. You have a follower in me as long as you’re around. 🔧🚘

14. I recently found your channel Ray and find myself watching video after video, though I’m not a mechanic, I find what you do interesting. I’ve even gone to find, at your direction, Eric’s channel and have been splitting time between you guys. I think what you guys are doing for this customer, is awesome and just wanted to commend you both for your generosity and compassion. These values are harder and harder to find in people in today’s world and it’s great to see that there is still some humanity left in this world. 38. How can a 150K car be in such bad shape?!?! They appear to take it into the shop often for work… but the question is, why is there so much work to be constantly needed? I had a 2006 Honda Accord for over 15 years, and the only things that failed was the cruise control button on the steering wheel failed in year 8 or 9, a the rear trunk lift support shock spring strut failed, and I think one of the turn signal bulbs.

41. Having lost my father to cancer in 2022 i can understand the situation the folks are in as i have been in that position myself, thank you ray i discovered your channel after my father passed away and it has put me in a better place.

48. Just saw this video today. Here's my part to help. The van is in great shape body wise, it's got years left in it with the rebuilt engine that's going in it. With all the gloom in the world, there are beacons of light poking through that gloom, thanks for being one of them. This is going to be a fun series to watch.
