Excellent job.
You should be very proud of what you have accomplished to this point in your life may God bless you and your family please keep up the great work and 📹 videos 😊
Just for giggles. Do you think a person could use a liberal amount of jbweld on both sides of poor weld to save all the trouble of replacing the condenser?
From memory the leak is probably at the condenser inlet, in front of the radiator. I love your videos Ray!
The Canadian armed forces are not ready for a deployment, and we all know what happened in Afghanistan, dont we ? To many of our troops came home in a box . We can never forget that in our hearts as Canadians.
You used to pour without spilling so well , what happened ?
Kommen ze out ! ! !
Our 2015 HMC 1500 foreman’s truck lost the condenser at 55 k miles 5 yrs old,no warranty. GM has went downhill so far from the 99-06 1500. And the 01-2006 HD trucks . They were solid trucks built to last ,today’s trucks are junk by comparison.
RAIN-MAN RAY, you are what some of us call….. "" GOOD PEOPLE "" . SINGLE-HANDEDLY CHANGING THE REPUTATION OF THE PROFESSION.
Remember when the carburetor and distributor sat on top and you could see the whole top of the motor😋
Very good you cleaned up corroded condition leaned by mistake thank you for awesome video
Condenser OK but 2017 High Country 5.3 with torque converter shudder. Immaculate vehicle with 42k on clock. Out of warranty based on time.
Was wanting to know where you got the light with the black light in it
Also you forgot to connect the air conditioning lines to the header mount before you started connecting all that shit back in there I can see why you no longer work for a dealership sorry my professional opinion and I've been doing this a lot longer than you have.
You know that you do not call that a surge tank that is a reservoir/overflow tank we don't call it a surge tank.
I mean there are multiple ways of doing that it's just that you are just fighting it and everything else while it would probably be the same amount of time maybe an extra 15 minutes if you pull the radiator and do the grill through it that way.
Well I am a dealer certified master mechanic from GMC and I'm looking at your video and everything guess what you're supposed to pull the radiator you're fighting it the whole time and usually what we do we take off part of the grill for that 1 nut you're saying you're using a small stubby quarter inch drive you don't do that you put along extension and you get it that way now I'm not saying you're not a good mechanic but you're not doing it the right way.
✅This is great Ray… you ‘no longer’ (work for the man) so ; you can ‘freely’ note – some OBVIOUS (cost cutting) workarounds, that ignore the customerâ£ï¸ WE (auto buyers) are behind you – (all the way) / and FULLY SUPPORT your concerns â•💞THANKS💕
At one view it look like there was coolant lines going to the alternator. If not I can see that in future vehicles.
LOL.. I have a cut and taped condenser in my 2014 Silverado truck… And I had the tranny rebuilt too because of the torque converter issues they have as well… I had issues with it but refused to wait for it to grenade the whole thing.
Great explanation…
Where is green

I gotta say only found ya about a week ago but you're a rare breed in this day and age you're a good man keep being awesome
Wow! 7 hours to replace a condenser? My have things have changed. I wish all engineers had to be mechanics for a period of time to see what mechanics have to go through! Also, transmission cooler connections on the condenser? Makes no sense to me!
Seeing this and more makes one realize that US car makers learned nothing long term from the @$$ kicking they got in the 70's from the Japaneese. Garbage transmissions, engines, lack of innovation, and really poor quality control opened the door for every Japaneese car company to eat Detroits lunch. Today, rather than addressing the dual issues of poor design and poor quality control, car manufacturers are trying to come up with more creative ways to extort more money from the consumer with subscription service fees.
