I went out garage sale picking and came across this red max commercial back pack leaf blower. the owner said a landscaping company left it behind about 6 years ago and knows nothing about its condition. let put it up on the bench and see what happened to it and can it be fixed?

  1. It's amazing just how much dust and dirt builds up in the garage.
no one seems to think that every time we blow out filters, brakes etc it has to settle somewhere.
I have a small leaf blower dedicated to blowing my garage out every couple of weeks.
I wouldn't do without it, a lot easier, and better than spending hours sweeping.
I even blast the roof beams, shelves and under the benches.

  2. Glad you chose "front line" rather than mainline/CDC healthcare. I never took jabs and when I finally got Omicron, I used Ivermectin and zinc supplements and was down temporarily but basically sailed through, age 74. No long symptoms. We are in really sad shape when we can't trust government health agencies to give us good advice. I now have S protein "3.0" antibodies as well as coronavirus nucleocapsid antibodies that you don't get with any jabs.

  3. YOU'RE a BADDD!!!! MAN.. I probably would have never figured out that kill switch and wires… Awesome video
    🙏🏿💯❤️

  4. Thank you for having the courage to give a shout out to the FLCCC and the work they have been doing to save lives during the "cxxxx pandemic " Their protocols have saved many lives and could have saved millions if allowed to do so. As usual , excellent tutorial on how to bring something (someone?) back to life !

  5. right off the bat. i can tell you that there was an issue with payment of that job and thats why they said fuk that beat up blower. just said f it and ran. so either they got prepaid befor the job was done, or the client got stupid onthem, adding shit on for the same price, acting as if it was the agreement to begin with. fukn them into doing more at probably already a good price.

judging the state of that redmax, i bet they were shitty landscapers though none the less lmao.. they dont' a fuk about their blower, i can't see them beign much better to someones shit

  6. Put some WD40 or PB blaster on the switch. I had a similar problem with the kill switch on my Troy Built cultivator and soaked it with PB and cleaned the wire contacts and it then worked fine.

  7. I put TB 1184 on tank grommets. That, keeps them from leaking pressure. You can also use Seal All. A lot of plastic tanks developed cracks and leaks. I use Seal All on them.

  8. Watching Mustie1 inspires me to fix my own garden equipment. The latest was a Shindaiwa EB8520 blower. Gas tank and filter dirty, wrong type of pre-filter and carbon deposits on muffler. All good now. Really nice blower worth looking out for. Glad to hear Mustie1 and his wife are back on track to good health.

  9. Hey Mustie 1, Glad to hear your feeling better! I was wondering if anyone ever saw a video of something you fixed that used to be theirs and offer to buy it back?

  10. the larger shrink tube will shrink down quite a bit and be thicker /stiffer insulation. if you aren't in a hurry you can epoxy over the cracks then shrink over. or if you are in a hurry, wrap with electrical tape then shrink over that. Use your discussion tab for stuff you aren't worried about being monetized, I had had covid and my shots, before, it wasn't a big deal. Getting sick only gives you immunity for up to 3 months. If you are getting medical advice from social media links, I beg everyone to talk to their doctor, not a chiropractor, dentist, veterinarian, nurse.

  11. I thought you sounded a bit "off". Wife and daughter and I are just coming out of Covid ourselves. Really knocked us around. So hard to get motivated to doing anything. Glad to hear you're on the mend.

  12. I was wondering what was up with your voice in this video. Glad you are back to being healthy again! You are my favorite Youtuber and such an inspiration! I just wish I had the free time to work on all the projects which you have given me the confidence and knowledge to fix!

  13. I had a petrol grass strimmer and that didn't like full throttle. Kept bogging down and cutting out. That turned out to be the exhaust filter they got carboned up, so just chocked itself . Once I picked out all the carbon from all the small holes in the metal filter it worked perfectly again. So I learned some thing that day too.
