  1. Don't know how I missed this peaceful little series in my wanderings through the video library. I find they're great to watch as I digest Sunday dinner leaning back on my office chair. Something of the essence of Just a Few Acres Farm lies here. It's long, repeated cycles of life, mortality and re-birth. The wholesome goodness of the land. Thank you Pete~~Jeff in CT

  2. I think that maybe farming is a lot about relationships — family, neighbors, customers, farm animals, pasture, and equipment. I like to see your relationships and how you manage them.

  3. Pete
I really enjoy these videos that show quieter meaningful moments you have with your animals. I also appreciate you not yielding to the pressure to create click bait videos . Keep up the good work.

  4. I've laid in the 8' feed troughs and my cows eat around my body or nose me into position they can grab food better. Sat in pasture and they are all around me and my 3 Bulls in as well and they are like titan wanting scratches from me

  5. Watching you in the pasture lowers my blood pressure! Very sorry this video isn't getting the views. I love your approach about 1(maybe2) bad day. I wish all live stock had such a great life. Being friends with the livestock means that they can be relaxed around you. That is so nice! Ranches here in Arkansas tend to be so stressful on the animals. I just hate it.

  6. Pete you have My attention it gives me solace to see this part of your life on the farm doing the chores and trying to make friends with the animals because I hope to someday have a form of my own and it will give me solace to be able to live a life of serene on the farm doing the things I love and not working for other farms but making my own dream

  7. Hi, Pete! Lately I discovered your amazing channel. I grew up in a small farm as you. My brother farming too and in every free time I go visit him and help with farming. Your farm land is the same size as ours. We have 22 ha with fields. I find so much to learn from your experience. This makes me think about real values in our lives. I hope once I can go back and become farmer too. Thank you for what you doing. By the way Dad's jokes is like we said in here "BOMBA".

  8. your a wise man and i love all your videos and youll learn that the people in the comments that are being mean will say anything to make people feel like they arent putting what people want to see up to try and bring them down but im here to tell you your doing great. like i said your a wise man and doing a great job and farming is a pasion of yours and thats great. ive learned so much from watching you and look forward to the next video no matter what you post!!!! thanks and from my family to yours we love watching

  9. I wonder what little ones would do if you laid down near them. I think you have done that already with cows but not sure about with a calf you are befriending. You are braver than I but we have mixed breeds of wild cattle:)
Talking about cattle frames, would you ever consider raising a bull to sell? With your good eye, I think it would work.

  10. I love love love this video there’s nothing better than having calves come up to you , I was wondering if there was anywhere on your farm you could put a brush cows love brushes x
