In this video, I go over my first gaming chair I have ever had. I have some cheap office chairs inside, a bar stool, and a $1000+ Knoll Office chair at work. I will be going over ergonomics and the overall functionality of this chair comparatively.

the reason i dont use office chairs despite everyody saying they're a scam, is because you can relax in one.
Does the cylinder ever go through the base and touch the ground on these types of bases? I have issues where my cylinder is touching the ground for other bases
I sim race, if you've never Sim raced before you should get a wheel and give it a try, it's great but impossible to sit prone for hours on end so I need a chair that reclines slightly and is very adjustable!
I can't think of anything I've ever bought from CHINA that doesn't "suck"!
I just hope this will be the exception!
Thanks for the review!
I just got this chair and so far I love it. I don’t know why this guy is so critical of the chair. I have back problems and neck problems and I like the cushions, for the neck and lower back lumbar support. The back of the chair goes above my head and so I get full back support, you don’t see that in many chairs. The back cushion feels great in the small of my back. This chair is not plushy or soft but when you have back issues like me, firm support is the thing that feels good. I like firm mattresses for this reason, it supports my back and feels good. It reclines and the arms are adjustable , height is adjustable, and it is larger than most gaming chairs and covers the whole back. The seat is cushiony but not too cushiony. The chair also rolls around very well.
This chair has excellent ratings on Amazon and you can’t beat the price for what you get. I don’t mind the logos which many are complaining about. It may seem somewhat proprietary but it gives a coolness factor IMO. Many gamers are streamers as well and the chair will look good on cam. Think of coolness factor like this: Nike shoes wouldn’t be as cool if you had a pair with no logo and people didn’t know you were wearing Nike. These chairs are geared to gamers/streamers/young people. You want to show off that you have the chair, and if you are a major streamer, you are promoting it of course, but it is a good product. I would like to add that this is, of course, a comfortable chair because gamers and streamers will sit and play for hours and hours, and need a comfortable chair provided for them. For some gamers/streamers it is everyday as it is a career. I just think this is a great chair if you are going to be sitting at at computer for hours, not relaxing, but active (gaming/work). I will say that I haven’t had many good chairs, so I’m not a good person to compare it with others. So maybe to me it feels awesome but others might not think so, IDK.
I’m not a promoter or connected to this product in any way. I’m just someone who bought this chair and wanted to tell about it. I play chess mostly. I sit for hours playing during this pandemic and needed a better chair. I am a 42 year old male.

I laughed so hard at 5:15 ….."People with gaming chairs aren't doing long hours in front of a computer" what planet is this dude from? Gamers are gonna sit in front of the computer for hours and hours, it could be a day or more if a new game comes out.
Indian style, really? C'mon man was it really any harder to say 'legs crossed'?
I need a new chair for gaming and I have NO clue which one to get after spending hours of searching. My budget is £100-£300 please help me out
it’s got good reviews on amazon
I bought a DXRacer 4 Weeks ago (as a Christmas Gift for myself, bcs it was in Sale for 185€)
But now, after 4 Weeks sitting in it, i can say its definetly BS (at least for me).
I feel cramped in this Chair. I cant spread my legs wide bcs after all: It is a RaceCar Chair. It is meant to hold you in the seat.
But when you play many Hours, you wanna change your posture.
we laughed with you
I bought a gaming chair assuming it would be somehow very comfortable.
Terrible chair to sit more than 5 minutes. Lot of money for very bad chair.
I have an Uplift 72" desk. The problem is I keep it in the sitting position because I use a floor standing UPS and if I lift it up a couple of things come unplugged. I haven't been arsed to get longer power cables.
I don't have a good chair at the moment, but the ones I would look at are the Steelcase Gesture and the Herman Miller Embody, both of which are very expensive, but I think of them as an investment in my back.
This chair costs 399, no jOkE
I don't understand why none of these manufacturers have designed foot rests for these chairs. I wouldn't think it would be too hard to put a flip up foot rest like a recliner, or maybe fold away like in a wheel chair.
Lumbar support has never worked for me in any chair.
I too have a really bad back. I don't see how you can stand for long. I have to sit most of the time or my back and neck pain become unbearable and I have to go lie down. I have degenerative disk and arthritis L4 and L5, Arthrits and bone spurs L1 and L2, Arthrits and bone spurs pinching on a nerve at C4 and C5.
I am (as I write) using a Nitro Concpts gaming chair which is a pretty basic model (I think I bought it for around £90) which has been, to this date, the most comfortable single chair I have ever had. Admittedly it doesn't have the strange pillows as seen on the one reviewed and has nowhere near the amount of back tilt. I do generally lean back a lot, but it is more like a 40 – 45 degree angle.
What kind of joystick cap do you use on the Steam Controller? And do you recommend it? My joystick on the controller is pretty worn out and the coating of it sticks on my thumb sometimes.
You look 300lbs in the thumbnail i clicked just to be sure
I was about to write that the reason you hate the lumbar support is because you have bad posture, when you pretty much confirmed it yourself by stating that you have severe curvature of the back through years of sitting at a computer desk. And that's without even meeting or knowing you. The lumbar support is designed to prevent that curvature of the spine while sitting, that you have, by pushing and holding/supporting the lower part of the spine forward into it's natural position. If you want to eventually reduce or eliminate your visits to the Chiropractor, then uncomfortable as you may find it right now, I'd start using it if I were you. It's not going to be an overnight cure, but will over time at the very least be a massive help, and you will eventually get used to it and not even notice or remember it (unless it's missing) so long as you stick with it.
A good quality office chair is the way to go.
In Linux what is the Adove After effects Alternative in Linux
to make Video advertiseong and motion graphics. 2d cartoon Animation
Not Blender 2.8 please
I use a German Miller is a beauty. And is not ugly AF
Now you need an ibm model m or sun type keyboard
did the same with back pillow from dxracer, but i bought bigger pillow for drivers seat and is much better now.
When you hit 100k subs (probably by the end of the year) switch to windows for 30 days or build a pc with your kids
I think I'll stick to my office chair, no thanks as far as any 'gaming' chair is concerned. Nope. Also, gaudy doesn't quite cover the looks of most gaming chairs… I think 'ugly' fits better.
@8:00 "but can you do this?!*" "it's only $399.*
like for quote.
Sometimes these videos are like a Linux psych therapy consultant
Other times, I just want to go quick buy a gaming chair at the nearest Walmart!!🥰🥰😎
wow. chris love the vidoe, but really loved the brutal honesty. this is IMO is a real review. prodocts would be alot better with these kinds of reviews.
Great video. I'm in the process of buying a new chair (gaming or otherwise). Cheers
I'm definitely entertaining the idea of a standing desk to both sit and stand. I'm just not too fond of the aesthetics of standing desks. They're kinda boring, aside from the top itself.
My current chair is a really cheap gaming chair that I essentially got as a gift. It's not bad but I definitely understand the gripes with gaming chairs. The next chair I buy myself will be something different for sure.
Currently have a medium backed office chair. Had a gaming chair, and glad I changed.
Thumbs up 👠for the disclosure, but shame on them for such a restrictive review policy. They expect a quid pro Joe review. 😅😂🤣 For that alone I wouldn't buy one. I have a VERTAGEAR. ðŸ˜
I still haven't found a "perfect" chair for myself. I currently have a Staples gaming chair, and although it's not bad it's not great either. The best feature of my chair is that the arms push up at a angle, allowing me it to fit up flush with the desk when it's pushed in. A standing desk is still on my wish list also. (one made with a real wood top).
Forget the chair, I want one of those mouse and keyboard pads.
At the office I swap between sitting on a yoga ball and a regular office chair. At home, I have a regular office chair and it only cost me $70 and has been with me about 15 years (actually is about time I look at getting a new one). I thought about getting a gaming chair, but I'd never buy one without sitting in it first. Everyone's different for what they like and the support they need (size, weight, posture, etc.) when I get a new chair I'll just go to the local Staples or Office Depot and try them all out before buying. It's not like I buy one every year so I'll take my time and find what will be "my chair".
I sit Indian on my gaming chair too, my parents say I'm odd.
I am in a wheelchair. That is for me the most comfy chair. Or on the couch. But intersting to see.
