  1. Calling your cows on this video made me wonder why we called our cows to come by saying “co boss”. I always thought it was a Dutch thing since my parents emigrated from Holland. Funny I never asked them about what that meant. Looked on google now and apparently it was short for “come boss” circa 1790.

  2. You are just happy-go-lucky kind of guy and I like that you make everyday Pleasant we need a lot more people like you in this world thank you Pete for being such a nice man I love the attitude you have when you tackle a job keep up the good work cuz God has truly blessed you you are truly a beautiful person inside and out and that's rare

  4. I really appreciate you and your wife, out of all videos I've seen, it seems like your channel is more real. Even down to the sometimes disagreement, to even when things don't go right.
What I'm saying is your channel is not staged. I appreciate the real stuff side of farming and I will shear you channel .I wish you the best

  5. Love your videos and views on life. Question: I've never seen a dog in the videos. I've never seen a farm without one, or more. A good herd dog could help, but then I like dogs.

  6. As you settled into farming after leaving your architecture job how did your wife transition into farming from a career in nursing? When did she know you were out of the woods like you said? And how is your oldest daughter doing now? Seems like since you got married you were working on farm life projects starting with rebuilding the house and then slowly moving onto the old farm, so it probably wasn't such a stark change of lifestyle? I'm a new subscriber I enjoy your videos! Great work!

  7. Nice SDSU Jacks t-shirt. The University is about 50 miles from us over in God's country, South Dakota! Our daughter started out there in nurse's training, became a flight attendant and finished her nurses training later on in life at a different university.

  8. When making a hayrack find a old truck bed that's not rusted out underneath 18' or longer 8' or wider no need for floor for round bales instal on a 10 ton gear and haul 10 bales so your can take a longer break when done ! Stay safe

  9. When making a hay rack find a old truck bed 18' or longer 8' or wider not rusted out underneath no need for a floor for round bales install one a 10 ton ton gear an haul up to ten bales be safe

  10. Really enjoy the videos.
My wife and I have a 1 st generation cattle ranch here in SC. We can relate as we do everything ourselves.
Enjoy your logic and positive attitude. If you ever need anything down our way let us know.
God bless you and your family

  11. Would you be willing to do a video showing the quick disconnect on your tractor and bale fork. I would like to do something similar on mine and I am always looking for proven ideas.

  12. 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🗽🙏🏻 Enjoyed! Your backing up the old hay wagon brought back memories! Guys complain they have trouble backing up a single axle trailer, I tell'em they should try an old grain wagon/hay wagon……. whole different story. There even was times on the farm when you had two grain wagons hooked to the picker and you would have to back them up….not easy but could be done👍

  13. I dont know what it is about crappie old stuff and me but we just get along so well.. everytime I get something new or something "like new" I'm always looking over my shoulder and babying it always worried about breaking it. Something old and beat all up it just seems to go and go, never worrying about hurting it or banging it up. Maybe it like me, dont look so good anymore, beat up a bit with some dings, to old to really still be out there getting wide open but like a old wagon or tractor we know how much it can really take..
