2. NOTE TO ALL PROSPECTIVE WINDOWS 10 LTSC IoT INSTALLERS–
   As you run W10 LTSC IoT on your older machine, Microsoft has the ability to do an automated check of your hardware profile during any Windows security updates transaction. That means you will operate W10 LTSC IoT under constant uncertainty, in which you never know what will happen in year 2026 through year 2032. Your only notice will be a sudden failure to complete a security updates transaction.
   Adding to that hazard, any website evolves over the years, and one day, a website can declare your browser must be upgraded to continue to work on that website. That leaves you forced to upgrade the browser, which may not work with the W10 LTSC IoT environment you installed back in 2025, using software from 2021.
   What to do? If you have decided Microsoft is truly the abusive monopoly a federal court decided in 2000 that it was, then you should give Linux a fair trial. The advantage is you never will have to pay anybody ever again as your browser and operating system evolve, and Linux will work well on most of your older hardware.
   Under Linux, you finally have the assurance that running your computer no longer means battling Microsoft demands. After all, it is your computer, not part of the Microsoft global network.

13. I installed WIN 11 LTSC IOT across all my machines on my home network, only issue I have is easily getting Microsoft Store and Winget onto the machines I need them. It would be nice if that could be included in your script…. Wink Wink…Nudge Nudge…. …Any advice would be greatly appreciated…..

15. other company when designing a long term service OS: inorder to improve stability and offering services after the main os end, we're gonna install apps that are also long term supported and introduce monthly security update to keep u safe. meanwhile Microsoft: we deleted all the apps and 90% of services to improve stability, and we're gonna introduce 1 update that does nothing every 2-3 years😐

18. I've been running Windows 10 IoT LTSC for the past five years, and honestly, it's been incredibly stable – almost to the point of being boring! The best experience with Windows so far. I use my computer for productivity, office work, and also for casual AAA gaming and audio/video editing. I haven't encountered a single issue in all this time, and that includes the updates, since they're purely security focused. 10/10

26. Thing is, it's soon gonna be the ONLY version of windows 10 getting updates. I am not subjecting myself to all that garbage in Win11. I'm sure you can strip a lot of it out, but why not start with a clean OS instead? Seems smarter than starting with a tainted one and trying to clean that.

    The lord: My Son will use Windows Enterprise LTSC IoT with some debloating and anti-telemetry scripts, and an HWID activation script and use the same computer for 10+ years assuming he doesn't export 88 minute long 16K raw video in the newest editing software

29. How do I get a bootable usb stick? Downloaded the ISO, flashed it with Rufus, but can't boot the stick. Any tips?
