Today I’m packing up our products and spending a day at the farmers market. I’ll show you how I set up our booth and how we sell our products, as well as giving you a tour of the Ithaca farmers market. I’ll explain the farmers market rules and different fees, and what the experience of selling at the farmers market is like.
Note:
-We do not offer farm tours
-We do not ship our farm’s products

I used to work for a bank heading a team training people in customer service, and i must say you understand it better than most people do. Nice video, thank you
Could you put a canvas up at the back of your booth in the winter to keep the wind down?
My brother went to Cornell.
As usual Pete. Great video. Maybe someday I'll head down From Syracuse area to see you at the market.
All kidding aside, the market is a nice comfortable place and it looks like it draws good traffic. That said, it's nice to have a place like that to go to and have reasonable assurance the products you produce will find buyers. After all, if you don't attract buyers for you product you don't get the money to stay in the farming business. I'm guessing it's a hard way to make a good income and the best part it lets you do the work, you enjoy doing.
I would love to visit your market
Keep up the great work!
Hi from Russia.
Can i ask, howe much u can sold in this market ( median sum ) ped market day
That was a great video. We also sell at the farmers market and totally relate to your pains. Signage with good bold lettering has helped to inform the customers what we sell and bright tablecloths as well. Keep smiling and the good work you do.
Thanks for sharing the video
Great video Pete
Loved this.
A lot of amazing work
Booth by the santa as well!
I'm curious about what you said that you can't sell anything that you process yourself. But in another video you said as you were filling a cooler with whole chickens that you said you butchered the day before. So do you butcher your own chickens to sell or have them butchered?
Hi, Pete!!! Can you say me, how mach do you pay for your working day on the this market? And do you nee any documents for your products?
Thanks a lot for your answer!!!
I remember a few years ago in Wisconsin they passed the Pickle Law, so people can sell canned items without a permit etc..
I hope and pray that this honest farmer always gets sold out in the market…always!

Thanks for posting. I enjoyed this video a lot.
Beautiful eggs! A coworker of mine brings his in-laws’, farm fresh eggs in and sells them at a real bargain. I always grab a couple of dozen. That bright, healthy orange yolk is worth it.
Is he from the upper Midwest?? Sounds like it.
Gotta love Cuomo. So silly. Hope central NY is better than Capital Region
Thanks for sharing awesome. Sorry for the hardship during these crazy times.
Just ran across your channel. I really appreciate the content very informative and interesting.
Holy crap! You got the booth beside Santa!! hahaha
Why don't you charge the 3% c.c. fee. We do. Or is that a personal choice not too. Just wondering. Great videos. And I use old equipment too, just to fix it, lol
I just went to the Hartville Ohio Farmer market yesterday. I had a few dollars on me but ran out of money and stated using my card. Is it best to carry cash at places like these, to help out the vendor and or be able to deal a little bit?
Peter, I really enjoy watching your videos. I'm saddened that your business is suffering because of covid. I hope things get better soon. Farms like yours are a national treasure. Good luck and God bless ðŸ™.
