6. This has a commercial in this called Fixd while it takes for ever to get they also tried to bill my checking account around $109 (3 )times which caused card to be locked . They advertise to never get ripped of again but when u buy Fixd you set yourself up for a years code reading hat they ever mention you have to pay-a monthly fee or yearly fee to read the information . This is not mentioned until you purchase the device Yes i have records this happening

8. The Cobalt is one of the first "disposable vehicles". You're supposed to drive it once, then wad it up and throw it away like a disgraceful shame tissue. It costs more to operate the lift it's sitting on than to produce that so called car. Did you dribble it and try to shoot a basket? Did it squeak when you hugged it? You get the point. BOOOOOOOOOOOOO not worth the shotgun shell to put it out of its misery.

24. The only 2.4s in Cobalts were in the fake SS’s. Beautiful color. This car would make a great candidate for an LNF/5 speed swap to be a clone SS sedan. Rear disc brake, Brembo conversion of course 🙂

25. To make the job easier, could you smoke test the tank while it's on the ground? Just trying to make the job less stressful.
    Up and down multiple times for a stubborn leak can be a pain!

27. Is there not a access panel for the top of tank under the rear bench seat every car I’ve owned in UK has access to fuel pump from inside under the back bench

28. We have a guy at our shop that tried to re seal a gas tank locking collar with silicone, it took about 3 days and it was leaking again

36. Our 2007 Cobalt was part of the recall for leaking fuel pump.

37. If the car was in Wisconsin with a fuel leak from top of the tank, it'd be the fuel pump rusted through in one or more spots, lol.

42. The humor is forced and lame. It was better before. Plus, he keeps showing us that he has a huge ego and is kind of a smug douchebag. Just recently he was petty enough to boast about having a customer's possibly vehicle towed out of spite, all for the crime of not kissing his ass. Not a good look, even when you are in the right. He likely got kicked out of the last place (when he was actually funny) because of his bloated ego and thin skin. He thinks that he deserves to be treated like some kind of garage god when in truth he is a dime a dozen.

43. For anyone with a 2007/2008 cobalt. Google Recall Bulletin 12190B, Very common issue on these cars. This car may have had the recall done as I also see the zip ties for the heat wrap on the lines(heat wrap accelerates the fuel line rot and is checked during the recall). Rainman did a great job as usual!

    you are in a difficult position, lets say it like this, if you dont take a closer look to the brake paddle issue, whatever the customer wants, states or says. hopefully you have done some paperworks.
    if the car crashes because of brake issues after leaving your shop, you have a big problem

    and this 5min to smoke test the leak issue …
