"Two days later…"😂
Haha. That bolt said f you
My e350s always had lower shock mount issues. Especially up in Michigan winters salt.
My 98 needed to be drilled out and I used a huge bolt for lower mounting.
You didn't have cut off wheels?
Even a year ago, it was Dorman to the rescue!
Greetings: 27:58 "Transparent" Finally proper use of the word. Not the millennial/ yuppy redefined version. Thx Ray. Now if we can correct the abuse and incorrect use of the word "like"… language would have been restored… partially. Thx 4 the share. Bsafe.
Greetings: So much 4 charging a 1 hour job. I hope U added the Ford and rusty charges. Thx 4 the share.
Those LCDs on the odos are easy to replace.
In NC any tire that has a DOT date over 5 years old automatically fails state inspection no matter how much tread is on the tire.
That tire would be illegal in UK you would have an obligation to not let that leave your shop unless the customer was informed and signed a weaver agreement that they take full responsibility for the defective tyre if they refused to have the tyre changed
Content is good but your camera moves too much. Gives me motion sickness.
Why use OEM shocks? Get some Monroe or Gabriel heavy duty shocks. Better quality and cheaper, and comes with all the parts needed
DUMBAZZ
specifically…. ford f250 econoline
f250 dumba##
did you say that can was an f350?
How come you didn't use the proper tools like a four and a half inch cutting wheel to it's okay Ray
Here in the rust belt you get the hardware with the motocrap stuff packaged in from any 3rd party retailer simply because your PB blaster more often than I'd like to admit is simply just not enough for these older work vehicles.
Is there anyone else out there like me that insists on calling them dampers and not shock absorbers…. Maybe it's a British thing. 😀
You should have test driven it, to make sure there are no broken cords in the tires. I don't really like the fact, that the heavy twin I-beam suspension hangs on the shocks. I'm not at all surprised, that the stud and nut tore right through the washers, completely disengaging the shock. How did the shocks feel? did they offer any resistance or did they just 'telescope' freely?
I chuckled a bit when you called it an F (no E) Van. a chunk of the sidewall missing and dry rotted to shyt. You need a plasma cutter
The only useful grinding on that stud was edited out…
What's up with all those Miatas rotting away?
unreal that the new shocks did not come with any hardware you never reuse old bushings and such. most aftermarket come with all that does not surprise me that oem wouldn't as they like to charge stupid prices for those "extras" even though they are required and just removing the shock that front axle should not have dropped that far! the may need radius arm bushings as well as other front suspension components
