Yesterday I published a video showing our on-farm process for slaughtering a pig. I spent a lot of time editing and submitting multiple versions of the video to YouTube to come up with a version that was approved for monetization. But soon after the video was posted, YouTube demonetized it. Here is the “behind the scenes” story of getting this video re-approved, along with my answers to some of the many questions viewers posted. It was not a YouTube conspiracy to hide real farm life from viewers; it was just about making content that is eligible for the inclusion of advertisements!
