  1. Well, this video is 5 years old, but by now the XBOX One controller is easy to set up thanks to the xpadneo driver by atar-axis (Even though you do need to have the latest XBOX controller firmware installed AND have it at least once been connected before with your PC on Windows to then work flawlessly afterwards).

  2. Man, I can't get any of my three xbox controllers to work on Steam. I managed to get the old 360 wireless to work on Garuda Linux, and it works on GOG, but Steam STILL doesn't recognize it on Proton. It's the only thing stopping me from letting Windows go.

  3. I know this is an old video of yours but can you recommend a wired controller for Mint 21.3, I've just installed a Dreamcast and PS2 emulators to play some of my old favourite games and I've never been a fan of wireless, I tried to pair my PS3 controller and it pairs but then unpairs itself and is pissing me off so hence why I want to go down the wired route. Many thanks.

  4. ah I only have the switch controller and xbox… was serching all day for how to use them, and now… I only know its not possible

  5. how do i use the ps4 controller work for my lutris games, does it just work out the box once connected via bluetooth. on windows for non steam games

  6. Sadly, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller has proven to be kinda the worst controller i've been using on Linux.
It frequently "disconnects", even while using a wired (USB) connection… which is weird — but it makes it unbearable for any serious gameplay….
