n this episode from 187 Customs, we found a 1983 Ford Bronco in Ada, Oklahoma that had been sitting for almost 10 years. Naturally, we decided it was the perfect candidate for a Will It Run? revival.

After checking fluids, fuel, and everything else we could think of, we decided to send it — and surprisingly… it fired right up! Things were looking good, so we hit the road to attempt the 2-hour drive back to the shop.

About 10 minutes in, the oil pressure gauge dropped to zero. We thought it was just sludge clogging the sensor since the engine still sounded fine… but about an hour later, we learned the gauge was probably telling the truth 😬💥

The engine let go in spectacular fashion — but luckily we had a truck and trailer following us, so we were able to load it up and make it home safely.

Was it worth it?
Would we do it again?
And what’s next for this Bronco?

Stick around to find out.
