We finally have our hands on the new Redmi K30 which comes with the brand new 64MP sensor from Sony – the IMX 686, and in today’s video we are going to be comparing that with the 48MP IMX 586 sensor found on the Redmi K20 Pro to find out which one is really better!

The IMX 686 is the successor to the wildly successful 48MP IMX 586 sensor that we had seen being used as the primary sensor in multiple flagship smartphones in 2019.
The IMX 686 uses the same 4:1 pixel binning technology as the IMX 586 did and thus takes 16MP shots by default.
