Mustie1, Could you do a video on the the history of the VW engines and the engine size, CCs, in relation to the VW vehicle and there performance? Wasn't a Porsche engine a souped up VW engine? Which VW, Porsche (air cooled) engine produced the most HP? Bore out a cylinder head, larger carburetors, fuel injection, turbo charge?? Love your show!!

Oh, I should mention that the other car has to be doing 35 mph, to destroy a VW. A real car would just get a dent.
I asked a woman once why she owned a VW Beatle and she said mileage, and I said what difference does it make when gas was only 25 to 30 cents a gallon. And she said easier to park, and I said when you take a driver's test you have to be able to park a full-size car not a toy. And then I said if a real car hits you standing still or going down the road, you are dead, not maybe but definitely, they are made of cheap 20 gauge metal and if you lean on it, it will dent. They don't have heaters, I can sleep in my car, a VW you would to have both doors open and you would stick out both doors. I can open the windows in my car during the winter, if the heater is on, you can't open the back windows at any time in your car. They put all kinds of junk on the engine to make look bigger, but you only have 36 or 40 HP in 4 cylinders, I have almost that in one. What the real reason and she said it's cute. And I said it's supposed to be a car not a pet. With the air cooled engine it will blow up before I have travelled 50,000 miles in mine. Good luck with that.
It's just amazing a Karmann Ghia looks like a car and VW looks like something that a 3-year-old would draw, if you asked him to draw a car.

Only info were 1972 bus project without engine for sale 300 € and one photo. It had all windows, no bumpers. Had no money to get it, because of this virus. Virus, no job..

VW Type 1 "Beetle" = modern Volkswagen Golf.
VW Type 14 Karmann Ghia = modern Scirocco or Corrado. Maybe Eos. These three were produced in the same factory as the '65 Karman Ghia in the video.
Today, this factory produces the Porsche Boxster/Cayman cars with a "K" in the 11th digit of the VIN.

Actually, it was originally a Florida car.. I bought it here in California, and got it registered in California. Lucy is the name gave it. It had a 1835 in it, that stayed with me, I put that 1500 in it before i sold it to its new owner. It was an eBay auction, and there was a bidding war between the winner in New York, and a gal in San Luis Obispo ca.
