In this video I bring you along as I replace the center roller hinge on a 2011 Toyota Sienna. It is a really easy job with just a few simple tools.

@SouthMainAuto whats the reason for replacing the center hinge roller? Thanks for sharing your video, it’s very helpful.
Thanks for telling me the bolt dimensions, cause I snapped both. I watched them the entire time and did the back and forth but still snapped
The only reason to skip painting that hinge would be if they are trading it in soon after the repair.
Especially in a place where there's no "r" in "buttah".
Mouse milk made your bolt soggy.
I can tell you right now the dealer does NOT paint them when they change them under warranty.
Does anyone know the part number for that?
I had an upper door hinge roller replaced under warranty. They have to order the part. Send it to an auto body shop. 2-3 weeks after delivery to the dealer. Then no guarantees it comes back the same color. They finally switched autobidy shops after i completed my repair. They also forgot to call me that the part was in. All depends if you want to wait. Love the cat.
Could you share the part number please?
You are awesome. This is exactly what I needed to watch. Thank you.
I did it! Great instructions and tips. Thank you!

Very nice tutorial! Very helpful, well done, and clearly explained! I have a question for you; I have an issue the power sliding door of my 2002 Sienna. The door will open but will not close with the power push button. Have you any suggestions how to fix this? It has closed a few times but not for quite some time now. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. TYVM
If the new hinge is already coated, any spray paint is going to have trouble not peeling over time.
This is my first time watching one of your videos. I was laughing within the first few minutes. I don't think I've ever been so entertained while watching a car repair video! Thanks for the good info and the giggles. ("Take some lessons, Honda!")
I'd ve painted it. It delays the job for an hour, but in the end it looks good. People say they don't care, but in reality they notice when its isn't. Still, as you say, do as the customer asks'.
Same as the Australian Tarago and Japanese Estima
I love the way you do a thorough job with caution and sound advice for us novices. Keep up the great work!
If you watch The Simpsons you'll see them milking rats.
I see a cat, I upvote!
Years ago I had a Dodge Grand Caravan with similar issues. They were not made well. Thanks for being real.
I highly doubt that Toyota would have let that hinge out the door without some sort of coating. Plus, if it were raw steel, it would have flash rusted just from moisture in the air. So it’ll probably outlast the rest of the van.
Why wouldn't the customer want a couple of rattle-can coats of white paint on that hinge? I'd pay you to do at least that much if it were my car.
My kids will paint anything for you, even your cat.
Dang, ol Nessie was BIG mad about the busted teaser..
If you think milking a mouse is interesting you should see them milk an almond…🤣🤣
Brings back memories of our 2001 Sienna trying to break my daughters leg (no edge pressure sensors of any kind) – That door motor was RIPPED out that night..
Luna is adorable. 🙂
About 5 minutes in I realized I could watch everything you did in the reflection 🤔
The hinge is going to outlive the rest of the van.
