On my Dodge has never been high enough to trip the air flow.
More air means more fuel and 64MM turbo one thing leads to the others .
Ram air for Dodge 3500 dullay Ram air it kinda goes togather .

Delete your resonator, it will not make your engine sound any louder.
Looks like a k&n filter. Clean it and you are good to go.
The plumbing is a reverse snorkel. It will pull warmer air from the road way, for one. Don't go through a deeper puddle,you may create a hydraulic situation in the cylinders or damage the turbo. I know that the customer supplied parts, but it may backfire. 35:38

I did something similar on my RV only it was DIY design. It worked great and no issues with the water. I did however add a screen to the scoop to keep out debreis.
