Looks like you forgot to clean the throttle body. Also, if you jack up the front end so that both tires are free it is easier to remove the airation in the PS system.

Ford power steering should use atf or type f. If that is the high side for the ac, it will be warm. On the question of where does this go, you have video footage of the disasmbly.
