Redmi has just launched its budget segment focused Redmi 8 in India. In this video let’s unbox it and see if it really is an upgrade over the Redmi 7 or not!
The Redmi 8 sports a 6.2 inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution.
Underneath the hood we find the Snapdragon 439 chip along with 4GB RAM & 64GB Storage.
The Redmi 8 comes with a dual camera setup. The primary one is a 12MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The second one is a 2MP depth sensor. As for selfies, we have an 8MP camera.
The battery inside is a huge 5000mAh one.
Like every other Redmi device, the Redmi 8 too runs on MIUI. This version of MIUI is based on Android 9 Pie.

For me for budget phone this redmi is upgrade. But if compared with thousands++ phone sure can't say anything.
This is best phone From xiaomi. Type C fast charge and gorilla glass 5 is best upgrade of the 7 series.

Everything said, I am astonished no top Indian reviewers talk about SAR value of phones or compare them. It's high time you did that.
I think it's a good phone for 40+ age people…. They don't really need a powerful processor for games.
