Customer States: Engine barely runs and has a severe lack of power. It also has the occasional no start or long cranking before it starts. So far I’ve found vacuum leaks, clogged ports, antifreeze leaks from the water pump and the electric fan is damaged. I had the fuel pump, filter, spark plugs, ignition wires, and a distributor cap and rotor. It also has a new coolant temp sensor, O2 sensor, MAP, intake temp, IAC and throttle position sensor replaced. The ECM / PCM has been replaced too. See part one.

  1. Fyi once the rear is filled the fluid also goes into the axle tubes and wets The axle bearings.. u mentioned a 1/4 a mile b4 the bearings get wet and thats y u grease them… its not gonna hurt the bearings but u really don't need to grease them.. just sayn

  2. The bearing cage is higher then the inner part of the bearing race and im talking about the plate you used ..i cringe as u pressed the bearings on

  3. before assembling the ring gear in diff, you should always clean both with brake fluid. They are shipped with some lubricant that needs removed, Additionally you need to check ring gear for burs before installing. Wait as I further watch video, no set up race and bearings first for preload shims? OMG! WOW is there a follow-up part of this video where you have to take it to someone who knows how to rebuild diff's because you demonstrated "how NOT to do this"?

  4. Thank you so much for this video. This is the project i’m really struggling with and it was great to see you do this in such detail start to finish. A prayer answered really… because you know it sucks to take something apart and not be able to put it back together. lol.

  5. I was wondering if that seal was right lol, 10 secs later you took it out
goddamn got the diff and pinion set right the first time is crazy too jeeez

  6. that pattern was crap your pin ion is too shallow you want a nice foot ball shape in the center plus you could hear the chatter when you where rotating it but I noticed you did not measure and Verify your pinion depth at all and you test the Diff with a properly set preload and torqued to spec and you also put tension on the carrier when rotating to be honest Rainman your a good mechanic but I would never let you touch a diff after watching this Sorry Man but I have to be hard on you on this one to be honest I expected better from you sorry

  7. No torque wrench? No pinion shims? Reused stock carrier shims without measuring them and just sent it? No measuring backlash? Installed seal and crush sleeve before even being done with setup? That pattern was shallow from not having any pinion shims in. Yet somehow jobs like this will still make it down the road anyways.

  8. I can't tell you how many times I've shut off the tv to watch your videos. I love them. My ex and I used to race mud trucks and so I'm familiar with all this. So interesting to watch!

  9. Ray, you my think about brazing a drain plug flange in the low end of your factory steel stamped dif. covers.. it's a maintenance thing. Your cooling system servant 🥶 🐲
