In this video I have a look at a 2011 Chevy 2500HD that has a message coming across the dash that says “Service Trailer Brake System” and I find it has a code P2534 stored in the module. It has been bounced around to a few shops but it ends up being a quick fix. Let’s get after it. -Enjoy!

Got a trailer break system error also. With my similar scan tool. I can communicate and see data… next thought is to chase wires . I need wiring diagrams like you get. How to get them without large subscriptions. Any ideas? Thanks

Where is the trailer brake control module? Left it out of the description, but I can guess by the video.. Great job, some luck, and some unlucky stuff. At least he knows where the next issue will be. Love your channel and am a Subscriber.
Thanks for this video. I was able to find and replace the trailer brake module thanks to your video. I also purchased a tester and am currently tracking down bad wiring on my pickup, it is indeed a handy tool to have.
