I hope nobody takes this wrong but it seems like all we hear is how Mexicans or hispanics are good super hard workers and will practically work themselves to death for little money. This show has made me realize that hispanics are NOT better workers than Americans. Yeah I know Daryl is no prize but even he isn’t chronically late like most of the Hispanic workers especially Eric. I know he’s kinda lovable and all but I would have fired him long ago for being late so much.
And before anybody starts trying to tell me that they will do jobs that Americans won’t just save your breath because it’s simply not true. My garbage men have been white guys and even girls for the last 45 years.
Folks I’m not knocking or smack-talking Mexicans. I’m just saying that Americans can & will do any job just as well as anyone else. They just don’t let employers take advantage of them like someone afraid of being deported or jailed will.
